i copied the .txt file that Bob made for and placed in table file? is there something else i need to do?

I think it should just be named dmdlogo.txt I renamed it because it was in the same folder as mine. I did not test it as my cab is still in pieces while I paint.

still nothing..when is it supposed to show up? between tables right?

I found that when you first add the dmdlogo.txt file, it takes awhile for it to show up..play a few games or walk away for 5 minutes and come back.

Also Russ - that DLL seems to be the same dll as the "newer' one from a few days ago. You are right tho, SMB and Tee'd Off do work with it smile.gif --but the B2S games are still broke (byte wise it looks like the same dll file). Just an FYI. Don't feel like I"m pressuring you lol.

any one with the vishay boards (think that's all of yall lol?) can leave the pinDMD and cable plugged IN all the time smile.gif its just the pinled which can damage the pinDMD if left un powered. but the vishay is fine. there is no need to disconnect the pinDMD every time!!!!

That's great news as I just ordered a Vishay.

Orange Vishay

I saw red Vishay for 159 euros and thought that is a great price, but after reading through this thread I thought I would go for the orange although a bit pricey at 233 euros. Then I got to the checkout and tax was added making it 275 euros!.... damn.... but it was too late to go back now smile.gif. The wife is going to go absolutely mental (if she finds out bomb.gif )

I definitely want the orange one too. Is Future Electronics the only distributor? I can't seem to find anyone else.

So with a bunch of people switching out their monitors for real DMD's
Does anyone want to get rid of their LCD monitor? A real DMD is just not in the cards at the moment. They do look Hella good though. Maybe one day.

place the .txt file where you store all your table files smile.gif (its normally the tables folder)

also you can try searching your pc for dump.txt where ever this is, is where you want to place your dmdlogo.txt smile.gif

Zablon no pressure lol smile.gif me and snotz will get them games working again, least all the dmd games are now cool smile.gif

you mentioned it was called dmdlogo_.txt it should be dmdlogo.txt and depending on your os settings should only be dmdlog the (txt) is the extension and is not show most of the time.

I put mine the vp/tables folder and it fired right up after i exited my first game.

However i uploaded a video of my cab with the dmd and it looks great. I would say that anyone with a cab should put this on the list of additions. Even if you dont hell strap it to the top of your computer monitor smile.gif

I guess i should have kept recording because the wife actually got "monsters of rock" who would have guessed smile.gif

My entire family loves the new red Vishay DMD.
This is one of the best things to happen to VP in quite awhile.
I have 110 tables on my cabinet. So far I have had time to update the scripts for Addams Family through KISS.
I will get the other half done tomorrow and then test them. But so far so good.

hmmm ebarlow99 im not sure why this is not working for you
did you open the dump.txt, what did it say inside?

where do u keep all your .vpt table files?
try placing it in there

make sire you have extensions turned on so you know exactly what the file is called and its not been renamed to some thing like dmdlogo.txt.txt
