That would be nice too, although Xbox One X supports 4K already and the existing switch doesn't as far as I know? The new Switch apparently will support 4K output though but then you may need to wait for a new jailbreak if going down the homebrew route (which may never come if they tighten security).
Probably getting way ahead of things and windows is most important, but perhaps also important to think about early stages of where this could potentially head in case the foundation is built in such a way that it makes it harder to port stuff later down the track.

I would say if it works, it works, if it dont, it dont.
Make the windows version, then look later if it is even feasible to bother porting to a console and if there is even enough interest to bother
and enough authors willing to go pulling apart their tables to make them console playable.
A lot of table simply would not play on a console as the tables currently sit

Having one (and loving it) - jailbroken Switches are a bit of a PITA - you must have the first hardware revision to do it "easily", later hardware models + Switch Lite currently require a soldered mod chip that's annoying to obtain.
Filesystem access isn't a problem, you can FTP or mount the microSD directly. Probably would only ever be an unofficial port, but man would that be nice.. ![]()
Windows Desktop is enough for me ATM. Cross-platform core already seems a basic project tenant, and if you guys test exported to Android/iOS, it's already been built on ARM ![]()

Hmm yeah, using an old modded Xbox for a cab - why not. Reminds me of my days with XBMC
I think it just dawned on me why your avatar seemed strangely recognisable in some dark recess of my brain. Were you part of the old team or just an enthusiast like me? I still have my old 2003 Xbox, gave up the ghost a year or so ago, opened it up and looks like some new caps are required.... plus the "battery" cap naturally started leaking as well.

I will take a look, if I have to update Unity.Latest everything? I wrote an import/export tool a couple of weeks ago for @wrd1972 and had to fix a few bugs.
Can you post one table nevertheless where you had the error?

Is it a HDRP problem when materials became crazy ? (clipping on play mode)
Console:
Gizmos.DrawMesh requires a mesh with positions and normals, maybe a bad import or a bad config setup?
any idea?

seems to be very sensitive to the unity version used.
j'ai la version 2020.3.8f1 LTS, le mode play est inopérant avec vpe 45,hdrp 58,vpe asset 16
mais l'affichage de la table est nickel.
les problèmes de compilation doivent être résolus pour entrer en mode play
