Hi, now this seems to be a joined effort I was wondering if any progress has been made. Still a very interesting project and I hope to see more of it in 2013 :)

hi guys,

and first of all, happy new year to the pinball world !

This time, i'm really back to business.

No mods for a long time , i have nothing new to show , but i have lots of things in mind to do:

-various optimisations and better elements classification

-I've planned to stop working on the VPM part at this time

-I'm going to focus on handling graphically and physically all table elements before re-starting VPM and scripting parts(who are really messy and buggy)

Thanks!  Keep it going, & please ask for help if you need it.  A lot of people here with a lot of skills that would like to see this get done one day.

Glad to see you back lou. Can't wait for this to come along and for vpm to be reworked.

Here is a strange question, is there a way that you can support the ball leaving the playfield? This happens quite a lot on real machines but never on visual pinball. I am not even sure how to begin having something like that.

thanks guys

@syco: what do you mean by leaving the PF ?

you mean the fact it may jump a little when, for example, exiting from a kicker ?

Or it may jump out off the table ?

Probably jumping off the table, becoming airborne after hitting a rubber or plastic, bouncing over the flippers and over plastics - for now, in VP we have to fake it with active ball or other methods (invisible ramps like No Good Gofers, kickers like Goldeneye, etc. They aren't actually randomized over the entire playfield.

Build a fire, vipers love the heat.

Yes this is what I mean. Sometimes when I play medieval madness I will hit the gate by it hitting the wall between the gate and the lock. It will hit the gate and then lock. It is indeed random but I have done it twice on a real game in league play (not on the same credit mind you). This would be awesome if it could be added somehow.

as the engine is real 3d, it might be possible,IMO

Decreasing gravity may help .It needs testing.

Just started playing with modelramps and wire ramps.

It needs some adjustments for the starting and ending models, but it's a good start.....
