Yes,, I have tried the un-reg then re-reg, both from the Run as admin GUI and also ADmin CMD prompt.   The only thing different between the machine it WILL load on, and the one in my cab seems to be the .net version... I have the latest 4.8 on the cab that will not run... and as there is no supported way of going backwards  (according to technet) I am just going to reload windows 10 and disable updates.  I will only employ the minimums of what i need and update manually as needed.   All of my tables and settings are on a spare drive anyway.

 

I did have all anti-virus disabled, as I do not run it on the cab.  I have been wanting to clean things up anyway... so hopefully, this will do the trick.  Now with the Baller Installer , it is so much easier than before.  I just have to remember to re-enable the Virtuapin controller in FP, and setup the selection keys in Popper....then start re-adding tables.  

 

I will have to go searching, but I seem to recall that there was a way to get the media files I had already downloaded for the Pinup menu to move over vs re-downloading...

Also on the real DMD I am using pin two DMD, I was not aware it would drop down to 16 color.  What do you recommend in this case?  The original .dll?

About the colors, well, one day, hopefully - we will see 64 color support for freezy. I can't really recommend this for you. You'll have to decide if you want full colors for your pin 2 dmd. If you are already using color dmd with more than 16 colors, they will not look good anymore. Your DMD will look as mine I guess

 

I'm not sure how users of pin 2 dmd solves this to be honest. I have one, but it is in a drawer here and as long as my pindmd3 is working, I don't have any real plans for it. Pretty sure that you won't loose any of your popper stuff as long as you copy the whole folder.

 

Good luck, I would actually consider not installing Win10 - but, that is me.

Hmmm.  Well, the fresh install solved it, as FlexDMD is part of the Baller Installer and when I check the FlexDMDUI.exe  I have all the checkmarks.   Now to load some tables and give it a whirl.  @Thalamus  Does the Pindmd3 use full 64 color or only 16?

Freezy only uses 16 color for now
When Freezy is updated hopefully the 64 color will work with LCD and Pindmd3
For now the 64 color will only work with a Real Pin 2 DMD using lucky1's DmdDevice.dll File which will only work with Real Pin 2 DMD

Best documentation is older UltraDMD tables and probably the best one, Unreal Tournament.

Thank you, i tried Unreal Tournament but flexdmd only works in windowed mode, as soon as i switched to exclusive fullscreen, i cant see it anymore. I couldn't find a line in the script to enable the embedded mode either.

Exclusive fullscreen mode is just that, exclusive and full screen

DMD wont go over top of it

Yes, i know but the advantage of using exclusive fullscreen for me is turning the unplayable games to stable 60fps on my laptop. So far, i managed the DMD and SS scoreboards work in exclusive fullscreen and i saw embedded ultradmd function worked in bountyhunter table. I'm just trying to figure out how.

Because in bounty hunter, that is a flasher or textbox that is inside the table itself.
