Anyone talked to RICARDOPRF on youtube? It seems he is porting a FP game into Unity3d. I thought Lou had roms working with unity3d. Perhaps they can combine forces to get this going. drinks.gif

holey crap lol, this thread is a perfect example of why you NEVER take money (even if its held by a third party) from forum members before the project is complete!!! you will be pestered to death 24/7 until the project is complete and it just takes all the fun out of it!

its just not worth it!

I agree but when you see something exciting and with so much potential it's easy to get caught up and want to try and help out any way possible. I think getting the software license was a good idea but that should have come later on after the author had made much more progress and it might actually look like it would have been completed. I'm not saying that it isn't going to get completed or that the project has died or anything, it's still early to come to that conclusion but the silence from the author just doesn't help ease anyone's minds. It would be nice to get some kind of an update but you know for a long time what we went through with Randy and VP and look where it is now, open source and free to mod til your heart's content.(speaking of which would be nice to see a major update of VP but that's for another thread)

This silence is due to the fact that i do not have much time to work on this...sorry

The last time i touched the code , i've added solenoid callback support .
so the bk2k table doesn't crash anymore ,but still has a problem with multiball and drain system,
when i lose one of the two balls during multi ball , i get the bonus count !

hi , ricardo . and welcome here !
what you have done with the engine is really nice too, i really apreciate your proposition.

we need to define what you could do to help

Are you easy with com objects in unity or not ?
If not, would you prefer to focus on adding missing table elements ?

The choice is yours, let me know what you think about this.

Thanks for the welcome. Actually now, I don´t know where I would help. I know a bit :) of everything (programming, 3D, animation), I learned a lot by trial and error mode. I'm re-starting my project with a new programming, trying to improve the physics of the objects because, in previously, I used a lot of resources and it ended up being slow. The problem is that, I'm doing everything alone, and I was fascinated by this project of trying to create a pinball-style Future Pinball in Unity3d. I hope you make it open source. So, you're the boss. Sorry my english (Google Translator :))

I would think that he means more that he has passed the needed files to ricardo to get help with it. at least i hope that is it. i would love to have more than one dev on this at once. ;)

Hi Louizou,

Glad to see that there is still progress being made. Take your time man, don't burn yourself out on it. I would rather see this come out late than never.

The Virtual Pinball world is on fire right now...there is plenty of stuff to keep us busy. Do understand that some of us are very excited by what you are doing, some will express it differently than others.

I've all but forgotten about my small contribution to the Unity license....I hope more that it will be used than I ever care about seing the money again.

hi guys !

@syco : don't worry , i'll never let down this project.I've had some personnal problems recently and must make another big pause :-(
I let the all the needed time to ricardo to look and learn to what i've done.So when i'll go back to the business, we'll start a real "team" work !

@superballs: thanks a lot for what you said ;-) i really appreciate. I have no grudge for some users here ! i love pinball as all of you ! i totally understand
