Aha it's a different pc you're testing it on.
I think I know what's going on.

That PC probably doesn't have flashplayer 10 or higher on it.

DNA
Is the pinemhi score reader usable for cabs now or still have to be worked on.
Would be nice to pull up scores when I need them.

Here is the new version to try out.
It's a full install.
As many things have changed I would suggest to extract it in a new directory or clean the one you're using and then extract.
Don't forget to keep your code in a safe place while doing so.

The new feature does require that you have flashplayer 10 or above installed on your system.

Use h in a game to bring it up and h or Esc to return (feature does not work in 5 minute-mode)
If you have made a big score in the game , the hiscore will not show until you again start the game.
The nvram is as you may know updated by visual pinball on exiting a table and I read out that nvram.

Let me know what you think of the new feature.

Attempt number 2.........
Anyone wanna try out the new version with the local hiscore feature ?

Not an official yet but who knows.....if it's working ok for the volunteers it might be drinks.gif

Let me know what you think of the new feature. tapping.gif

So do I just install the whole thing on my cab ...... dont have the net but want to try the local score reader.
Its the same one you made for FPLaunch that wasnt used????
I will have to see about flash 10

If you want to just see hiscores you can always use a cmd box that way you don't have to install flashplayer 10 or higher (using the pinemhi program)....but typin all those commands isn't very user-friendly.
This version is pinemhi leaderboard just as you expect but with the local hiscores somewhat like this displayed:

Only thing is people mostly rename the tables in cab so then it wouldn't work as pinemhi leaderboard expects the original names of course
and yes this was what I had in mind for FPlaunch....Unfortunately it's only available during a game , alas not before starting a game in the menu..

You could try it out on your desktop first and see if it's something for on your cab...

_edit- removed it as it's not working as it should be for the moment

Local high score looks to work just fine for me...once I installed Flash that is!

As for attracting more folks...what about an automated sign up process? Folks may be a little intimidated at actually having to make direct contact (as direct as a PM is) to get signed up. Maybe an automated sign up like most discussion boards have these days. This would also remove, what I imagine to be "busy work" from DNA.

Speaking of busy work...is it possible to change an ID without removing the recorded scores? I'm currently signed up with my full name but would like to use my usual ID if possible (dbeedle). No biggie just kinda looks a little odd in the rankings!

Hello pinballplayer formerly known as Dave Beedle wink.gif
Don't forget to change your ID in the ini-file otherwise no score will be submitted.....

As for your suggestion, I think it's a good idea....
I have to think about making an automated signup for a user on the website...

OK thx guys I'll add them to the list this week end & will check availability. I would have preferred by pm so the vote don't look like "I agree with this one and wants also this other one". PM was the only way to get a real most wanted list. Anyway we're working on it with Drawde & we should have the list done before the end of the week with all voted tables, each with its "score" + table filenames for FS, VP9 & VP8. DNA if you need any more detail please tell us.

Nope, that will do nicely.....
Maybe it's not too wise to have "fresh" tables on the wanted list as they often have bugs that need to be fixed.
Love The new black rose table but that would be too soon...For example. rolleyes.gif

I will only ever say tried and tested tables from my collection.

Not really a wish list, whatever you come up with, I am happy. smile.gif

Are we making a current list, or The Ultimate Permanent List?

I listed tables that I would like to play for now, but withheld several others for later.
