Auto-rotation is a very nice feature but i have a problem with it: i just press one time the key, information are rotating, and this is good.

Now I want to stop displaying this information and i'm afraid i cannot do this... no key can stop displaying... How can i do that?

 

Is there any chance to have this feature: you press one time the key: you have the different pages displayed xx sec, and it stops  after the last page? (And press a key to stop displaying!)

autorotation is for automatically changing the info after xx seconds (you don't have to press any key to make it rotate).

Sure , you can go through them faster if you use the key but that's not necessary.

It doesn't make sense to use the auto rotation function the way you want to use it. I would suggest turn autostart on and set it to the page you want and when you want another page of info just press the key again

It makes sense for me: when you open a new table (from your frontend for example), it would be nice to have all the information about it, and then when the cycle is finished, you are ready to play.

But you already got that with the auto-rotation function. ( It just continues after the cycle so you can watch all the nice scores again )
Otherwise you would just have a blank screen, where is the fun in that.

Perhaps if you are using just one screen then it would make sense

 

I could add it, but how many times will somebody look at all the screens (one cycle ,without pressing the key) and only after that play the game.

If the timer is on for like 20 seconds. that would probably still be 2 minutes.

If a key is pressed to hurry up the screens then it would be better just to not use the autorotation function in my opinion.

 

No problem with the suggestion....just debating if it would be used a lot and if it would the way it was intented.

 

 

You mention that you press a key to start the autorotate option.
Doesn't it start when you start the table?

Just curious because i thought it should start automatically

I would just use the key to scroll through it , i guess....backglass is the same as it is always on with autorotation.(blocking the backglass)

You could set the background to off on the backglass though, but that's not the way you want it either....
That feature was more likely to be used when you have a 4th monitor or some space somewhere that isn't used (also for autostart feature)

 

I'll put the cycle-one-time on the list.
Not promising anything for a next release though....depends on how easy it can be implemented

My Perfect lucky game is cancelled WHY ? I have luck the Ball was bounced 25min in the Pop Bumpers that was no cheating i hate cheaters i must always Stream of Twitch  from Pinballs i liked i respect all highscores , i never say forever its where cheating , i can say example pezima cheating he plays so much hi score in short Time , i never say that :-) thx for my legal 7 Milliards Hi score on Medieval Madness :-) Little Bit Lucky is Pinball . I didn't say you cheated.

The fact that the score was 7 times higher than the previous highest score and no special scores were made during that game was the reason it got my attention (and got deleted).

If you have such a score you are bound to have at least a couple of special scores for that table.

a 25 minute pop bumper ball isn't a normal game of pinball.

Don't think you would watch a twitch stream from someone who gets a hiscore like that.

 

Not to keen about the insinuations with the example cheating sentence.

This has been done earlier in a previous post (not by you) and i personally don't like it and asked not do to that anymore

Don't want to be the guy to ban somebody for a month but if this keeps going I might have to

@blackhole ich glaube dna meinte, dass das kein "normales" spiel war, wie es auf richtigen tisch gelaufen sein könnte. Dass der ball zwischen zwei bumpern 25 minuten hin und her springt ist ja in natura unmöglich (sehe ich auch so...).

Tables can glitch and you get a crazy score out of it

but usually you just quit the table out if it is as boring as ball stuck in pop bumper for 25 minutes

 

Or if you had a decent game going, at least up to the point that it glitched
normally you'd post here and ask DNA if he can disregard it.

 

If it was a challenge, i'd force quit it, even if it was a decent game otherwise

cause challenges have time limits and DNA might not be able to retract the score in time

Right said, wiesshund...let only the machine do its job because of an error has nothing to do with playing pinball in a fair manner...I also wouldn't be proud of a score made this way.

If i had a cab, it would probably be very very rarely that it ever connected to the internet

That or i would have to purposely break it's network connection so it can not see anything but local LAN

and maybe like a route to submit a score.
(I dont really want AV or updates running on a Cab, it's a purpose built device, and the interweb isnt exactly part of that purpose)

I dont often have a score worth submitting anyways
If i do, it's the result of running, and pausing, the table for most of the day, while working
and blasting the same, almost guaranteed not to lose the ball, shots over an over.
Oh i will venture for a bonus shot here and there, but more often than not it will result in losing the ball LOL

If you have room, time and money, I would advise to build one yourself.
It's pretty fun, good against stress (thats what my shrink said).
And my cab is connected to internet. I update all windows patches, connect to gamex, pinnemhi, download doff, update steam etc. Etc.
