Indeed with beta 1950 errors, none with beta 1944. I did not test the in between beta's.
I also had errors with rev.1944, rev.1918, rev.1949 etc. Its random somehow if it crashes or not.

Ok guys. Playable version desktop or full screen of my Hercules table!
First let me say I'm still working on redraw of playfield but is going good just not many photos and let me tell you I have learned a ton in Photoshopso it is what it is for now.
Plastics I'm working on also so will update those as they are ready.
I think it plays very close to the real machine and I had to try and bring this table to vp10 for my own cab it just should be in every cab as much of a odd duck that it is!
Again still lots to do to make it pretty but getting there and think it will bring a smile to anyone who try's it! So look for updates to this historical table I am trying to bring it to life in vp10.
Made primitive bumper caps, spinner, stand up targets, flipper decals and as I get better resources I will improve them.
Please let me know what you think!
Working on gi currently....

Nice work on this Hercules table randr! I wish I could play the real thing but alas, it may never happen. I assume the slow/heavy ball feel is intentional due to the size of the original? It takes a bit to get used to but it's fun and unique...I like this table a lot.

Thanks. Well real machine is huge and ball is a cue ball from a pool table so it's "different" that's for sure. I think it plays fairly realistic. Glad you tried it
Awesome, I'm loving the table. I posted a wheel image for it up a few minutes ago...

Hi everyone,
Once more, the first post has been updated with the latest VP10 test tables. Have fun testing and don't forget to bring up any issues here. A reminder: Sometimes some of the betas can be a bit buggy (normal and expected) or may require the table to be updated to include a new feature or a fix of an old bug. An example of this is the pop bumper issue which required some of the tables to be updated. If you run into any issues, as stated previously, post about it here for the author to look into it and apply a fix if appropriate.
Please note that I will be out of town until May 13th. IF the sandy area I'm visiting has WIFI available, I MAY end up getting some time to update this thread but the reality is I probably won't be able to. So apologies in advance for my negligence but in this case, I'm going to cut myself some slack and not feel too guilty about it. It's been a crazy time at work of late so on a personal level, I'm looking forward to detaching myself from reality for a week. In saying that, reading Virtual Pinball related forums is pretty much an addiction to me, so doubt I'll be able to break the cord completely. Plus Randr can't get his act together until I egg him on. ![]()
Boy do I hope the weather forecast changes though, looks brutal where I am going!

I forgot to add a message for Shockman: The latest WIP that I had posted in the first thread is for WIP #8. That link is now dead. A recommendation, if you feel that was a stable version but doesn't work well with the latest exe, we could for now indicate which VPbeta version works (could be problematic if only the latest VPBeta is available for download) or remove the link until you are satisfied. Let me know ASAP and I'll try and update the thread with whatever you wish. It's a great table, feels very finished, you've done amazing work on it.

What kind of moron would put up a youtube video of a game you can't even release .... stupid!!! Useless! It doesn't even look very good
ETA:
Sharkey's beta doesn't work with newer betas. I need to update. I don't recall which version broke it, 1944 I think..

Trolling, mostly.
Look, the rules of this forum are pretty clear. It amazes me to no end how many people try to talk about SAM emulation here and they're surprised when their comments get deleted. Just because something is on youtube doesn't make it fair game. It amuses me that people post those videos here, and it disappoints me at the same time. There are other places to talk about this stuff, and places it's more acceptable to talk about SAM games. Instead of going there though, they all come here and wonder why they get silenced. Is that not funny? If not hilarious, then strange...
So I convey my amusement with sarcasm...............I'm not fishing, but watching people fish.
Anyways, I would assume the only thing preventing it from being released is that there is no forum that will allow it to be posted currently. Even the other sites won't let you post games currently in production. Once it is released, we can all complain about how dark the balls are.

Star Trek (Stern 2013) Visual Pinball 10 Beta
no link & comment ,delete by the author!!!but is very cool beta table
Guess why. According to the agreement with Stern, there should be no Visual Pinball tables for pinball machines with the SAM hardware until 2018. The guys in some other forum don't care about that and release them anyway. No Star Trek yet, but they even finished Metallica already and just wait until it's out of production. *sigh*
You have a copy of this said agreement? I bet not... The conversations I've had with them as well as the admin of said forum do not line up with this 2018 number. They will never say that. Their public stance would be and has always been to not publicly approve of emulation of Stern games PERIOD. Not in ____ years but never. No SAM here till 2018 is fine and dandy as that is this forum's rule but I see that more as a gentleman's agreement between the admins here and Stern. You can all give me the good ole "I told you so" in 2018 if Stern sends an e-mail to the admins saying, "OK, SAM is now out of production for 3 years, go ahead and emulate our games." but I'd be willing to bet that wont be happening.
Anyways, posting any SAM tables on this site is something that nobody should do out of respect of the forum admins. They don't want it and since it's their site all participants should acknowledge that.

its all silly and moot.... both manufactures and virtual pinball enthusiasts know that all this has ZERO "negative" impact on the real pinball world... real pinball people want real pins, and a simulation will NEVER sway them from what that want.... we need to get over ourselves, we're really not that important in the grand scheme of things........ obvious this is my opinion

I haven't kept any old betas. I don't remember which it works with, but unless and until it works with the current one, it doesn't work as far as I'm concerned. If there was some previous release it would work with, I would not be opposed to linking it to an older version, but not a previous beta.
It is finished, It just isn't going to get released with patches of fog where light should be. Materials muck up the intention of the graphics I have put together enough.
I have not pulled it to keep it away. I have pulled it because it does not work. I will put it back up as soon as a VPX exists with clear light. If I'm not mistaken, the latest says to avoid 1 for modulation. I avoid everything but one.
