Thanks for the attempt, but sadly acts the exact same.  Over/Under works, but other 2 stereo options do nothing on my end.  official 10.0 acts the same as this if that helps, but I know this was working at some point, just don't remember which version did.  Can I D/L older beta version of beta pre 10.0 somewhere to find out when it stopped working?

F10'ing (to toggle 3D on/off during play) doesn't change anything, right?

this is why you are top notch devs.  F10 WORKED, thanks.  Please everyone who has access to a 3d tv or an VR Headset has to try this out.  f10 worked in both real 10.3.1 and your test build.  Thanks guys your the BEST!!!!!!  Going into the metaverse now to play some VP

I have to chime in again and say thank you for adding a simple textbox "DMD".  I now disable PinMAME DMD and use the textbox method since that will get rendered on each side.   This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen on a computer.  Now to figure out which is better, bigscreen or Virtual desktop.

I guess using the Textbox with DMD keyword only works for real DMD's not alpha numeric displays like diner, correct?  Any way to get that working?

after hitting F10 and stopping the play of a table, I can sometimes restart the table and it will be in 3d mode, but not always.  Something wonky here

now to try FSS tables, (yeah hanzoverfist)

see my pinstubby with Rift pic below.

but why the heck did top/down then work for you guys without needing to press F10??

this is still weird..

i'll revisit the logic there.. and add some kind of helper text there if stereo3D is on but toggled off..

@slydog: yup, only works with the DMD, no alphanumerics.. i always wanted to add something native, there, too, but also when seeing all the recent recreations in VPX, i'll better leave that to the authors that can also better match the look of each specific machine (as these were way more diverse than the few DMD types that are out there).

here a test build with 'VP9/legacy keyboard nudging'.. all those guys that requested that, please test it and provide feedback here..

note: we cannot have the exact same behavior as VP9, obviously, as the physics are different overall..

note2: enable it in the key, nudge, dof preferences..

I have test it and it seems to work fine, just like in VP9, and this means that if a table uses it, then it will need the same script as we used in the VP9 tables, otherwise it will be like cheating :) Anyway VP9 nudging was cheating :) or maybe we are already mutants, like Magneto and we can influence the ball directly :) Or maybe we developed already telekinesis? :)

Anyway, I think the original VPX nudge works almost like in the real world, the only problem I see is that the ball almost doesn't move at all when nudging with a normal strength, so it never hits any object unless the ball is really really close to one. That's why setting the nudge force to 25 will make it work fine, and the ball will move enough to hit a nearby object, but then the force will be incredibly strong. The PM5 had the right amount of ball movement without the need to use a very high nudging strength.Maybe a variable got changed?

Damn it Haunt gave me away lol.  I thought he might like to try it out for TSPP.  :)

I've been working a bunch in the editor lately and I thought of one small thing that's kind of inconvenient currently.  I like how easy it is to add something to a collection, but it's a bit of a hassle to remove something from a collection.  For adding you simple right click and -> add to the (desired) collection, but to remove you have to go through collection manager, find the object you want to remove and remove it from the list.  Would it be possible to add a 'remove from collection' dialogue when right clicking an object that's already part of a collection without too much difficulty?  If it's a major pain just disregard, but if it's not too much trouble this could help streamline work flow a bit.

Toxie I have tested the nudges with that new option and works perfect for me that it,s exactly I wanted, that the ball it moves only a bit of nothing to have a option of save the balls because before never I couldn,t save the balls if fell to the center of playfield.

Thanks so much Toxie to make it  :clapping:
