Hi 1up,

i got an error by the 3 ball multiball:

What does the "?" on the right ramp.

When the ? light lit and i shot the ramp nothing happens and the ? lamp lit.
Would the ? light not start a function?

Select "Backdrop" from the left hand panel & make sure "options" is selected - the options you want will then be on the right hand side panel.

Dan.

Hi bolt, so far i havnt been able to get that script error? are those extra files that are in the zip (B2B collision and SMB script files) both in the same folder as the table?

you need to place the smb3 nvram file in your "nvram" folder of your VPinMAME installation. if you have done that then when the table is loaded just press "5" for credits.

i'm not too sure how this light/switch should register as i've never played the real table? it seems to register a rollover if there are no other features active on the table, but if there is another feature running then it seems to not do anything? i'll keep playing around and see.

Just realized while trying to convert this baby to WS that the screenshot is a WS screenshot of a 4:3 table stretched. Look at how oval the bumpers are.

After making the proper adjustments to convert to WS the table is awfully skinny but much more playable. I think this is how the authors intended its suppose to look? I still need to move over the castle to the left a bit.

My girlfriend and I were playing this and she had a crazy idea which I didn't think was possible, but after playing Bob's BOP, I'm thinking maybe it is... so, I thought I share it with 1up and UW to see what you thought!

We noticed that you added a bit of red to the ball image to give it a quasi table reflection, but we were joking that it was like Mario was the pinball, and since we usually play two player we thought it would be awesome if there was a green ball also (to represent Luigi)!

A silly idea, I know! But wouldn't it be kinda cool to have a different color ball for each player?

Super Mario Bros VP9 V1.2

Version: 1.2.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): 1up, unclewilly

Description:
Super Mario Bros VP9 V1.2
This version starts at V1.1 as it has the same updates as the FS 1.1 version.

This was a joint effort between myself (1up) and unclewilly. This was also my first attempt at building a table and a big thanks to unclewilly for joining the project, otherwise this table would still be a few months away from completion.

All artwork and light inserts images have been completely redrawn.

Hope you guys enjoy the table, it was a alot of fun building it.

so now it's time to save the princess...

UPDATE 1.2
Table now loads the latest “smb3” rom. So you will need this rom for the table now.
The pre-configured nvram for the smb3 rom is also included in the zip file, so it will accept coins. Place this in your "nvram" folder of your VPinMAME installation.(Thanks to Destruk for this).
-Fixed a few script errors that were occurring (again thanks to Destruk for the fixes), you will no longer get a script error if you tilt the table.
-Fixed the red yoshi ramp again . So the ball will no longer get stuck anywhere on this ramp.

This is an adjustment which you can make using the rom menu system. To set this to free play mode:

1. Press 7 to enter the menu system

2. Press Left Shift

3. Press 7 to enter adjustments

4. Continue to press 7 until you see FREE PLAY in the DMD

5. Press Right Shift to set this adjustment to on

6. Press F3 to save the change and reset the table

You should be in free play mode.

Hope this helps.

Turns out, it's just a skinny table:

If that does not work, you can set up the nvram manually. When the table is rendered, press the 7 key. Then press the left shift key. Then press the 1 key twice, then press F3. This will setup the nvram and you should be able to add coins that way.

Hope this helps.
