i'd sill cast my vote for futurama... other than that he-man and the masters of the universe would hit a soft spot in my heart, i guess.
and as someone already mentioned, zelda might make for a real good theme... blade runner maybe as well and purely even just for artwork reasons anime stuff like ghost in the shell or akira

How about "Blade Runner" pinball. My favorite t.v. show these days is "The Big Bang Theory" but don't know how this would translate into a pinball. I loved "The X Files" but was not a big fan of the pinball so I am skeptical, although my favorite STERN pinball is "The Simpsons Pinball Party" and I love the simposns t.v. show.

Actually someone made one a while back. (VP8):

Been parousing the forums today and saw this thread revisited.

Good suggestions guys. I know my suggestion for a table had been made but now that VP9 kicks so much ass if someone was really good at original art layout and dmd animation, most of these pins that people suggest could be amazing. Oh another I just thought of, comic books, how could I forget? X-men, wolverine, or something live Marvel vs. DC comics. And for music I wish someone could get permission to do the custom AC/DC table.
Another movie pin Kill Bill but if I could make one of Tarantino's movies into a pin it would be reservoir dogs, there is a lot you could do with the different characters, Mr. Pink, Mr. White, Mr. Blonde, toys and dialogue and so forth. Could be some good action sequences for the dmd.
Just some more thoughts.

There have been a couple of x-men tables made some time ago. One of them required a special plugin (I can't remember what it is).
I could have been smart, but I never learned anything by being smart!

I'd like to see Williams re-open a small division for new production runs of previously made machines. Even leave it up to the public which ones get built! Vote with your credit card, commit to an order, and if your machine of choice gets enough votes, Williams puts it into production. The voting system wouldn't be limited to the public, operators could vote as well by committing to an order of 'several' machines using the same voting system. Make the results public so that people can see what machine is next, what machines need more votes to make it into production etc. I believe Williams still owns the rights to all or a lot of machines right? I wonder how quickly the orders would roll in for a new production run of Black Knight or Space Shuttle, or some other pin that was hugely popular... I have no idea, but there must be a few folks out there with some disposable income.
Best Regards,
Todd.

What? You mean like The Pinball Factory - that bought the all the Williams licences, and took people's money with the promise of making re-runs of Medieval Madness and Catcus Canyon...what was it? 5? years ago?
If it didn't p so many people off it would be funny.

Dan.

Ghostbusters
Blade
Discworld (great and funny series of books by Terry Pratchett)
Gremlins
Sherlock Holmes (based on the new movie)
Star Blazers (great cartoon from my childhood)
GWAR (maybe not for the kiddies...)
Caddyshack (with a groundhog that pops up and steals your ball for multiball, and authentic Ty Webb sound bites going 'nananananana' when you hit the kickout holes)
Could go on and on...it's a shame most pin manufacturers are gone - you can find video games every year that probably cover most of the subjects people would enjoy in a pinball table...but (little to) no tables.

I think Naruto would make for a great table. I have a collection of background music and sound effects from the series if anyone's interested.

I vote +1 on these previously mentioned game ideas:
-Harry Potter ..... "Accio Quarters!"
-Neverhood ... and if parts break, fix them with clay lol
-Dukes of Hazzard ... them good ol pinball players
-Halo .... can you REACH the replay score? were it so easy...

Harry Potter actually has 2 versions. The newer one is shown above (though the screenshot is a bit stretched out), but Neo made a very different layout as well using the same graphics, its the v1.11 version. Both good tables.

There is also a ghostbusters table, its kinda old & not too bad, I think it was by MikePin
I also have an NHL original table here, very nice homemade DMD on it considering how old a table it is, this table also done by MikePin74, his most popular might be his Holy Grail table & Beavis & Butthead.

I was thinking about this earlier. What pinball machine would you have liked to seen made that was never produced? Can be about anything..... movie, books, music, sports, or fantasy adventure.
My choice would be Army of Darkness, that movie had all the ingredients to be a great pin. Has great one liners, plenty of characters for toys and plenty of story to have a lot of different modes. Wish I could make
a vp or fp table I'd be all over that one.
Your Thoughts?

Well looks like someone had the same idea as me except its not army of darkness it's evil dead. Sweet machine and an awesome backglass.

Well Rascal said "The girl who plays with A" (lol rasc/noah) wanted a Wizard of Oz table. After thinking of it. I think it would make a great theme. Part of the table being in Sepia color, and part of it in vivid beautiful color. Maybe a 2 layer playfield like Black Knight. I have images in my head of some sort of transparent rainbow ramp (somewhere over the rainbow) that leads you into Oz.
If you have a widescreen 16:9 monitor and want to play your VP9 desktop tables without them being stretched, check out This Link
