For a first table Rawd it seems more like someone's 10th. Just the right amount of transfers and play action to not feel overly busy, yet delivers enough fun and strategy to be an instant classic. The collection of toy/ video details mixes well with the mechanics.

A very inspired release. The teamwork factor really shows. Your wife's patience is greatly appreciated.

lusty.gif lusty.gif lusty.gif lusty.gif Incredibly, this table is beautiful, I love the style, the atmosphere, animation is superb, really big job to do all that and also the colors are not too flashy they preserve the ambiance of the game and music while simply awesome .... Lot of fun to play this table. However, first table, not even imagine what the next will give !!.... rolleyes.gif

thank you so much for sharing. good.gif clapping.gif clapping.gif clapping.gif

I think that the screens on both sides of the table used for playing the video game Spy vs. Spy at the time but I'm really not disappointed to have fun on it and remember my youth......

Posted by RawdCool. I am VERY curious though, why you are missing the Future Pinball logo. It gets in the way of the flippers, I wish I could at least move it.

(oops. There must be a version I don't know about.) No biggie.. was just curious.

I'm using for playfield = 2048 x 1536
Backdrop= 1680 x 1050

Dell 30" monitor playfield native res= 2400 x 1600

very HD....

That's why no FP logo Rawd...

This table seems to be wonderful but FP crashes when loading it (at ~80%). I unchecked the box, I'm on vista 64 and I already tried "run as administrator".

What's wrong ? sad.gif

All the options are at the maximum level of detail, 1680x1050 like for the others tables.

Help please smile.gif

Well done Rawd, certainly an amazing table for a first attempt. Got any more ideas up your sleeve or are you burnt out for a little while?

Darn. I am really not too sure. sad.gif It runs on my Desktop pc, which is also Vista64. It also runs on Rascals older 7600 video card. Do you have another pc to test it on?

Thanks Gravy. I am going to get caught up on life here for awhile, and then I was thinking of trying a VP9 original. Popotte also gave me permission to mod one of my all time favorites (Balls A' Poppin), so I may see what I can do with that.

I have recieved one email, and 2 reports at FPrelease of the table crashing on startup. Two of the reports claimed to have 'load images' turned off, but they are still having crashing issues. I am wondering if anyone here is also experiencing this problem? I would like to get to the bottom of it.

Hey Rawd-
Its happening on my setup too. I dont receive any messages, but I would guess it loads somewhere around 70-80%. I just installed FP yesterday. Im running a quad-core ATI Control Center v10.3 under Visita 32bit. I have a two-monitor setup resolution of 1400x900 - both monitors. Let me know what else you need to know (is there a log which captures stuff - or maybe one can be turned on?)

Ok, thanks. I have two things that I need confirmed...

1. Load image into editor in editor preferences is unchecked (not just 'load playfield image into editor' on the main screen)
2. Once unchecked, you have closed FP and re-opened it.

If both of these are done correctly, then I am wondering if it is possibly an ATI issue. I will talk to someone else I know who runs FP on an ATI.

Suh-weet. Definitely a contender for #2 original of all time. Too bad FP doesn't work at all on my laptop.

Well, I could try turning the graphics down REALLY much.

Welly, welly, well. That has cleared up the issue for me! I will be doing some 2 player action this weekend.

Thanks much Rawd!

F P crashes on mine, too. I would love to check out this table, but even with the box unchecked it crashes. I'm running XP with 3.6/1G, with an older card but the only way I can even get anything at all to crash is to check HD Render in VP.

FP would crash for on this table, 3 Angles, DarkQuest, etc. until I checked the "Use Texture Compression" box under rendering options. I do not see any decrease in graphical quality on tables that previously ran fine and all tables now work great. Try this and see if it works.

Hi, Rawd. I've noticed the table crashes when I have "high quality textures" checked in video/rendering options. Unchecked, the table works fine. I hope this helps.

Thank-you, I am sure that may help others in the future. Good to know.

I am eventually going to go through all of my textures and resize them and make them power of 2 textures. Hopefully that will also help anyone who is having problems, and it may decrease the loading time as well.
