No, donations don't help.
At least not to me, but maybe if you all donated some money to Black
I'm sorry i hav'nt postet for so long, but there has been so many other things to do.
FP and ATI graphics cards is a bad combination and i'm not going to change to NVidia just for
FP. It badly needs to be fixed but i don't think it will happen.
No matter how much time i've spend trying to make the ball hit the ramps it's still pure luck when it does
DMD would have to be almost not existing because
FP cant handle the amount of images required

All the restrictions in
FP, random crashes in the editor and uncertainty about the future of
FP has made me ice the project and focus on other possibillities to make pinbal games on an engine that might not be the most suited but has an active development, is completely free, can make games for different platforms and where it's only your imagination and skills that sets the limit if you start out with realistic expectations.
In other words, i'm spending my time playing around with Blender.
Not to make T2 but to research the possibillities, have fun and maybe make some pinball games.
As said the
FP project is on ice, but if the unthinkable happens i'm ready to take it further.
I'm sorry if this dissapoints some of you but as things stand right now i'm not going to use more time on
FPlight
On the contrary,
FP has been playing better than ever for me after I purchased my first ATI card. Granted it is a new high end HD5870, & from what I hear it is the newer ATI cards that are playing well with
VP &
FP. Also the drivers for them are better than the used to be.
On my previous card, nvidia GTX280-OC,
FP was crashing on exit, I couldn't use trilinear filtering at all, I had issues with the gameroom render.
But with my 5870 I've really had great success, even on windows 7 64bit. I've tweaked my
FP profile settings to perfection.
I'm actually gonna get them posted, as I found some interesting settings that really help out
FP, things that the casual user might not be aware of.
FP was already playing well & no glitches, but after some trial & error messing with driver settings, I get top notch performance & great visuals. I compared a screenshot of a table with default driver settings, looked OK, but then I overlaid the same table screenie with the optimized settings & its a nice improvement, noteworthy for sure. I should post that info, cuz one thing in particular in regards to both visuals & performance I found very surprising & interesting.
