Can we use the BAM in this version with a kinect v1 (the xbox one) ? (i ask before doing any installation that can harm my vpin system)   . I mainly use my kinect for 3d scan but this would be a good new use for it...

Wondering how the .ini files per game overrides work... I see that the default .ini is in our app data folder.  Do the game override .ini's go here also?  Should they be named the game name (what if it is romless?), or file name?  Thanks for the help.

Can you setup both 32 and 64 bit versions of Vpinball_GL to work with renamed exe's, like you can with the Vpinballx? When I load the GL 64 the 32bit errors out  on startup and vise-versa. Last time I tried it was version 10.8 v980.

No, there is no way to have them in the same folder. You need to have x86 folder and a separated x64 folder (due to dll name conflicts)

We could work around this, i did the same with the bass.dll before.

Question though, where did the 4x AA setting go?
or what is it's equivalent now?

Its called Supersampling now, and it allows for a much more fine-grained setting (200% is the old 4xAA).

This would be really nice to allow an install like PinMame, with just a single download with both x86/x64 and everything in one place (2 exes, with one ending in ...64.exe). I'm not a great wizard at this but if you have directions, I can help

This has now been addressed. Works for me on my laptop, but untested via VR so far.

Just tested in VR and it worked like a charm (SteamVR with null development driver all x64). This means, we should be able to have an all in one DX/GL x86/x64. That's cool

New Pincab.

Rev .366 final is routinely crashing. Table starts and plays fine, but if you exit and attempt the next table start. Crash and Burn!

I see  there is a ver 1164  renamed DLL on GitHub. Is using this 32 and 64 bit GL together a finalized solution?

I just loaded ver1164 32 and 64bit into the same directory and they both work now! I just renamed the 64 bit exe (-64 at the end) Thanks Toxie!

You can look at the "actions" tab to see the most recent things that were added and changed.  I think they were just discussing that a couple hours ago and it doesn't look like it's in there yet.

Is there a way to turn off the touch controls message.
I loaded this on my surface pro and the message stays. Or do I need to disable the touch screen for it to dissappear.

Someone else getting shrinked Tables (not adjustable) with kinect in GL Version?
Settings in BAM are fine, so the Tables in FP playing great in 3D...

I'm not using OpenGL, but check out action 1481 on github.  It sounds like it might be related to your issue.

This is the 10.8 beta thread.
You are still using 10.7.2. Can you try 10.7.3 that is also released and 10.7.4 has a few fixes as well, but think it is officially still a beta

Not that you couldn't get help here, but this is the 10.8 thread.  That was probably his confusion.

*edit*  Whoops... I see you guys already talked about that.

The live editor view is truly going to be a gamechanger and I understand it is very much a work in progress but just thought I would mention that the method used to adjust the view seems a little broken or incomplete (testing build 1176).

If you click and grab a face on the little cube to change the viewpoint, you can spin the table around up and down etc but it seems difficult to get it back to its original position if you end up with a slanted viewpoint.

From what I can gather there appears to be 9 grab points on each side of the cube which I assume should enable you to lock your rotation (yaw, pitch, roll) etc to a certain axis whilst adjusting the view, however all these grab points just seem to do the same thing which makes it difficult to get to a certain view angle.

Didn't check the last revision yet, but with previous revisions, you can use the numeric keys 1. 3 and 7 to have front, left and top view as well.

I didn't have the latest BAM, just downloaded it

It has (and think had in the past had well) already support for Kinect v1

Edit : Isn't Kinect for Xbox one the Kinect v2 ? (the one I selected ?)
