As to why there is an option to do otherwise

old legacy stuff i believe

Right, but then the question would be why there is still such an option. Especially since a new version of the B2S software was just released... the setting should be removed, leaving EXE as the only way.

Unsure, ask Jarr
I suspect though that some of the front ends that use B2S live for displays, may balk at no DLL method?

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

b. I can no longer start most Tables unless a .directB2S file is beside it

c. Some B2S files seems to be incompatible with my system and/or popular VPX Tables. They tend the drag the table down to an ultra lag-fest.

Well, it's confirmed:

Setting the "Starting As EXE" and also as the Default seems to have cured both of these problems.

c. Resolved

b. Yes, I can now start a stand-alone .vpx file without VPX Locking-up on me.

I guess I accidentally clicked that "Defaulting" option while trying to get the Addams Family directB2S to work properly.  :wimper: I seem to be learning everything the hard way.
