The thing is thalamus is right, the easier version plays way to slow. That's not to say that its not fun to play like that - Bigus version is a lot of fun to play because of the scoring opportunities.

having said that my best score comes from my version, I'll still be looking at dialing it in more and if more people want version 1 with coffin mod and flipper tricks then I will release a version of that with all the lighting options added as well.

I feel like dialing in the three ramp shots are one of the hardest aspects to get right, i find it hard to believe anyone can get more than 3 ramp shots in a row and i feel as though VPX punishes perfect timing eventually making it very RNG to hit the shots that you are trying to make, it might make for boring play to ramp out but I feel as though if a shot is makeable with proper timing even if it leads to boring i don't know the rules but i ramp out play then it should be possible.

I think none of the digital versions get the ramp shooting correct, why that's the case... flipper angles? flipper tricks code? I don't know.

Paragraph one says exactly what I’m saying. The game should be fun and challenging. And you can, in fact, get those “scoring opportunities “. Personally, I’d love to see the lighting on version one. Thanks again for your efforts on one of my most played tables

Was playing yesterday and scored 41 loops..a new loop record for me, but not high score (2.6 billion)

I remember playing a lot this stable when I was making my VP table back in 2011 :)

I guess I was testing the loops when I achieved those 31 loops :) And we didn't have ball control at that time :D

I have not played the table since then, so I guess it is time to play it a little more :) I have even forgot what to do, hahaha. YouTube here I come... :)

The rules are easy but the table is hard to master :)

best i have is 21 loops, I'll be trying to get ramp shots to be a bit easier in the next version even if i have to bend the rules a bit to do so (flipper position / ramp inlets larger)

1.3 is up with even better lighting. I still feel as though ramp shots are not dialed in as much as they should be but barring anything major this brings this mod to a close.

I may consider adding flipper colors and tweak the flippers/materials a bit more but I'm pretty pleased with its current state. let me know your scores and if you like the most recent version.  :dblthumb:

just played quite a few games on the new version. I really like what you have done with the lighting. Ramp shots seem a little harder requiring a little later timing on the flip. The rubbers on the side (slings?) seem a little too powerful. Some bounces off of them make the ball go so fast that  it's hard to tell where the ball is . Overall--I like it. Still hoping you might do the lighting to the version one. Thanks again!

Thanks for the update, the table looks very nice and plays very well!

I just couldn't change Dracula's coffin through the script, I tried to leave it in the original version (which I think is cooler) but the change doesn't happen... could you check?

thank you, hug

I have been back to work at the next revision after a long hiatus, but I wanted to touch on what the next version will contain for those still interested.

I will be dropping the ALP from the title of the table since I no longer own an Atgames Legends Pinball and am now playing on a 4K 144Hz monitor and so the camera will be set accordingly to the change (which is probably more inline with other peoples releases)

I have spent a great deal of time working on the kickers and flippers as well as gravity, friction and materials. I have added rubber bands that have end pieces and middle pieces of varying elasticity.

the kickers will be tweaked by watching PAPA pinball, the table plays faster and the flippers have a much steeper and shallow angle (when flipped) versus any other version of this table I've seen and gives it a different feel.

flipper tricks are working great.

I will need some more time before releasing 1.4 though... i really want this one to play the best it can and so i will continue to revise the materials till i feel it replicates the table as much as possible.

ETA is approximately 1 week as I do wish to revise some of the sound effects that get played when the ball is doing things, this will also fix the coffinmod bug finally so that others can choose which coffin they prefer without editing the script

I have added materials for every thickness of rubber bands (with 3 different variants per band) and every rubber ring and sleeve on the table which is a further development of my material modifications.... I feel like that's got to be the most in depth material modelling anyone has bothered that I'm aware of for a single table and a ton of work but I think for such a brilliant pin it's very deserving of such treatment.

I also ported over all Thalamus' versions sounds and added a missing primitive that came from his version.

I labelled all the sleeves, posts and rings with their part numbers in the editor as well

some things left before releasing 1.4 are:

Playtest the latest version a bit to make sure no issues crop up

Finetune the elasticity of all the new materials

Add red color flippers with black rubber
