High score seems to be working now, though I've not tested extensively yet and I wasn't always able to recreate the issue before...

Absolutely loving the table though, great work!

Fantastic JP, Excellent Choice, Super Fun Game, as usual thanks for your table ! Seems like that other version was standard on Windows 95 or something. Glad you resurrected it !

This table is incredibly good. So addictive and everything is so finely tuned. JPs tables always sound the best on my SSF (no DOF) cabinet, a ball hitting a post thuds nicely for example, flippers and slingshots are equally thick and bassy (but have a nice crunch to them). Add in JPs physics (and rock solid performance) and you're having a great time.

Cheers JP you legend.

I was very curious about this table, as i never played the Maxxis version, but played (a lot, it was so good) the microsoft version through my old window 95 then XP.

when i moved finally to window 10, i was happy to know you could still play it even if microsoft removed it from their new OS because of license hell :/

https://www.groovypo...ace-cadet-game/

And what a surprise i have to find that this version from JP for VPX , despite the physics are very different, is playing so great, the ball is flowing incredibly well .

Thank you for this amazing piece of pinball, it's impressive how good it is with realistic physics.

A note : i play VPX on a 4:3 window (1280x960) on my PC, by default the DMD that is displayed on the same window as the pinball is truncated.

To fix that i need to set the script to have a floating DMD outside of the window by setting the part of flexdmd to true even if i don't use FS view (what i usually do for each tables i play, so it's not a problem to me)

Still absolutely loving this table and the high scores are definitely working since 1.02!

It plays absolutely perfectly and looks spectacular. Amazing work.

I've noticed a couple of things where the rules seem different from the original maybe this was by choice as they are only minor...

First, the re-entry rollovers turn on the light rather than toggle it like they did in the original. A minor thing but it lets you upgrade the weapons and engines more easily.

Second, and I'm less sure about this, the field multipliers time out really quickly, can't get them above 3x and they just seem worthless. I thought they lasted until you lost the ball, but maybe I'm mis remembering that, or maybe it was too easy to rack up points that way... Same thing with the booster drop targets, I can upgrade the flags, but then it times out.

The original PC game was too easy to simply play for ever, once you got the hang of it, you could play the same game for hours.
JP tried to give it rules and gameplay more inline with a real physical table.
Kind of a what if Microsoft had commissioned a real table to be built from the PC game.

In the rules I read and in the videos I have seen of the Maxis version, those lights are reduced by a timer, at about 60 seconds, so yes, it is harder than in the Microsoft version. And you can upgrade your weapons and engines easier, but they also are being reduced on a 60 seconds timer :)

That makes sense, as long as it's working as you intended!

At least that's how I understood them :) And they seem quite logical too.

Between all the Solenoids, SSF and the lighting this game is crazy fun -- Thank you for the spectacular job on the game
Here's an updated table script

I worked on the DOF for the solenoids

I added some New DOF and separated some others - See the top of the table script for more info

This game has been added to the DOF website So I will submit - We can always update

-
Is DOF 143 for auto plunger?

-

I was not sure what the DOF 141 is for

-

One thing I did notice after adding DOF for drop target reset the solenoid activates even if all the Drop targets are up
