It is possible to add Xbox controller support to Pro Pinball tables?

I use JoyToKey for that: I have an "idle" profile which doesn't send any key as default and then I have an "Cunning Development" profile to start whenever it detects any of the Pro pInball .exes running. When I Exit the game the program defaults to "idle" again. Of course, JoyToKey starts with windows and stays minimized in the tray.

Can't believe I never tested this software out before.  Awesome stuff!!!!! I started out with "The Web" as I used to play this game when it came out.  It kinda works in my Pincab, after adjusting the ini file.  I copied over some values that I figured out with your incredible Banzai run table that is working great now on my 4 screen pincab.  I can't get the DMD on the correct screen though as it doesn't have an entry in the INI file.  That was just added to Banzai run recently and was wondering if you were going to add that to PinCabView?  Also playfield is not rotated correctly, it was on initial launch but now it is rotated, any idea?

Thanks

Another Program:  why can't I get the right flipper to work, even with my keyboard.  Any ideas on that one?  austin powers pinball and pro pinball acting the same way, vbery strange

Hi, Yes I have to update the 3 previous PinCabView packs with last changed I put in Banzai Run Release.

for the playfield rotation you may have change something you shouldn't, you can reset your settings in the ini file.

Left and Right flippers are set to use Left/Right Shift (at least when using "PinCabKeys" option). I don't know why it doesn't work for you but I think it's a config issue, something in your system doesn't work as it should with the Right Shift key (it happens...)

Hello. I'm also requesting the option to choose screen for DMD. I have 4 screens. My DMD screen is a full 1920x1080 but it's placing the DMD on my topper screen. If we can get update soon that would be awesome as I just discovered this masterful application of yours!

Thanks for this great launcher.

I'm glad I can play my old CD ProPinballs in my VPinball.
Timesock, Fantastic Journey and BigRace USA don't work with my CD versions, but I bought them on GOG again and with that version it does work.
With The Web I have no issues with the version, however when I run it from the Launcher it doesn't run them in the Windows 95 compatibility mode that the game requires to run on Windows 10 and I get the error "This program does not support Windows NT ".
This error is what it shows if you don't put the game in compatibility with Windows 95, but it's already set and if I run it from any of its .exe files (MENU, PLAY or WGAME) the game works correctly with the Mounted CD.
The launcher mounts the CD correctly since otherwise, it would show the error that the CD must be mounted, in addition I have also tried to run the launcher with the CD already mounted.
From what I see, the Launcher does not run the game with the compatibility options that I have set in the executables, how can I fix it?
I have been looking at the .ahk but I have not been able or known how to correct it.

For the ProPinball games (TS, BRUSA, FJ) you need them to be updated at least to 1.07 version (most probably your CD version are outdated)

For The Web, try to run the launcher as adminstrator, it should fix the issue. The problem is caused by the administrator settings of the game's original exe.

But many things have been updated/improved with "Banzai Run",

For now, the actual PinCabView/2D/WFS releases are outdated, I have to update them to work with the new features I put in the shader.

I hope I will find the time to update everything next weeks :)

Run Launcher as admin don´t work.
The Web exe files as set in compatibility with Windows 95, don´t set as admin.
I´m sure the problem is Win95 compatibility mode, but the game only work in this compatibility mode.

Thanks for your quick response.

Try to go to your registry editor in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers" and remove everything (full paths) related to your your "The Web" exe(s) from this location and try again the launcher.

It should work :)

I find and delete paths for The Web. but don´t work. same error.

I'm tentatively using The Web VPX version for this system, but I'd like to use the CD version and it's already become a matter of wanting it to work.
You can't imagine how excited I was to discover PinCabView and to be able to enjoy these games in my VPinball that I still have on CD just like I can do in the arcade.
I tried many times to run these games vertically for VPinball without success and now, thanks to your launcher, it's possible, all the thanks I can give you, are little for what you deserve, great job.

WARNING !!!

rex-arcade.com and pinballvirtual.es

These site owned by Victor74 (requesting my help just above) are asking money to get my work (PinCabView Launcher, PinCabView shader, PinCabView arts,...) with the friendly help of the Youtuber "Virtual Pinball GamePlay", and doing that they scammed you because PinCabView is free and also making money with PinCabView, dgVoodoo and ReShade is forbidden! (PinCabView uses both)

So if you paid to get that, request a full refund !!!

And never purchase anything on these site!

Just get the official PinCabView releases for free

Hello everbody,  :db:

Congratulations for the great job done!

I would like to make PCV works on my cab, but unfortunately, I have an ERROR popup on starting BigRace USA.
I can not see the windows Popup in which maybe the ERROR is explained, because of the ProPinball Splash screen.

Any help please?

Regards!!

Maybe your version of the game needs the disk image mounted when you launch?

Can't recall if I have thanked you for your efforts previously, but if not then a huge thankyou to Aubrel for what was surely a major undertaking. Incredible that we can play these old titles on cabinets.

Good suggestion!

I have the GOG version, so no disc needed :)

Yeah, I don't use the GOG version. The code version supported are 1.18 / 1.19 / 1.20b. Perhaps the GOG version needs to be upgraded to one of the supported versions. Aubrel had provided some of these patches. You might look for those in Aubrel's repository. Try looking through the official support thread at VPU. The link is in the first post in this thread. It would be a shame if you couldn't get it working. BRUSA is one of my favorites that I played back in the 90s. It's great on a cabinet.
