Hi!. I downloaded the latest PRO rom from Stern website. Then I zipped it to "twd_160.zip". But when I start the table I get the error message "Error in twd_160.zip zipfile. The zipfile must be currupt" How can this be fixed?

Just download the tdw160.bin and zip it again. I don't think I have any other advise.

I sorted out the issue with the "twd_106.zip" file. Great looking table and plays great! Thanks, JP!

I am getting error "Line 56: Object required Controller"

 

i went through a few google search "fixes" but no luck

 

Any Ideas?

as always the tables plays well with a solid deadness when the ball hits the flippers' that and a strong flipper makes for a reliable solid table as JP knows only to well

Does other games work? I guess you need to update your vpinmame or register/install it with the setup.exe

All other games work. I just got 10.7 running to play Deadpool and Walking Dead. Deadpool is working great. I have about 20 other tables in VPX and all are working.

Deadpool doesn't use vpinmame. You need a newer vpinmame to run The Walking Dead, or The Avengers, or any other Stern table from 10 years ago or similar (the ones that used the SAM system).

 

At least download this vpinmame beta 3.4 which works perfectly:

Today I finally managed to play your Walking Dead 1.0.2 variant to play.

 

It looks great , good to play, I love the comic style. As always a table of jpsalas that spreads a lot of fun.

@jpsalas I had to reinstall vpx and I just finished re-installing all your tables but I am having a problem with this one.  It loads but it won't do anything.  It's like the ROM isn't playing.  No music, no dmd, just the table.  I did download the correct rom from STERN, the pro edition.  No error messages coming up.

You have to go to Stern's site to download the rom:

Scroll down, click on Game Code, find the PRO rom (that's the last one in the list), download it, and then you have this file TWD160.BIN. Now ZIP this file and rename the zip to twd_160.zip so vpinmame can recognize the rom, and move the zip file to the roms folder.

Wow JP this looks fun !!! Thanks btw for making a kid-friendly version ... the adult version still  a little too freaky for me to play. At least now I won't pee the bed after playing your game late at night .... can't wait to try it now.

Hi JP, as I mentioned, I have already done that. In fact, I have redownloaded both the rom and your table just in case there were any errors during the first download.

Well now it is working.  So I thought maybe the backglass I chose was causing a problem so I found Wildman backglass he did for your table.  This time when I loaded the table, VP said the rom zip file was not correct.  So I re-zipped it and now it appears to be working.  Weird!
