Remember, there are 2 ROMS:
Normal: https://www.vpforums...ds&showfile=639
Free Play: https://www.vpforums...s&showfile=5504

Mabe you have the other, and which one is set in Script.

Beside that, you can start a new Game, if you are not happy with your first Ball.

are you in "force true full screen" mode? If yes, maybe that "nothing more" is just you don't see any error messages popping up?

What if the rom files are corrupted? Is it possible to fix that? If so,how?

You can’t just update the rom...at least most of us cannot. You probably are using the wrong rom. Did you look at the script to see what rom it wants?

The download page contains a link to the rom, which is blakpyra.zip

The table was build with VPX 10.4, so it is quite old now :) But it works with newer VPX too, and it will even work with VPX 10.3, you just get a warning.

In this table you may delete the nvram and it will work at once.

There is nothing special with this table. So I have no clue why it isn't working for you. I guess you have alredy removed that "Forece sxclusive fullscreen..."

Does other Bally tables from the same era work? LIke for example Eight Ball Deluxe:

Does it give you an error that it doesn't find the rom ? Then, if you're very sure that you put that rom into the roms folder. Always try a new table and rom twice before giving up. It is a known thing that on first run with a new rom odd things may happen because the rom doesn't see any previous state ( nvram ). If still you have troubles. Then you actually should try to delete the nvram file in question. You should find it in the nvram folder named <rom>.nv - in this case blakpyra.nv

If you do get an error message that the rom is not found. It might be because - it actually isn't in the rom folder. Or that you have said under video options to run in force excluse mode. That crashes if ddraw isn't disabled in the registry. You should turn off forced full screen and try again to confirm this being the problem. And if you need to run you cab in this mode. You have to search these forums for solution.

Always with problems. Go to xxxx\pinmame - find setup.exe. Start it, press the 'test' button and then scroll down to the rom and try to start it from there. If the rom isn't working. VP has no chance of working too.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 9.9.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
- Made the light inserts warmer.
- Added SSF sound commands.

Thanks for the update but unfortunately I have lost the ball rolling sounds, loading up the last version and all is good, am I the only one? Running VPX 10.7.2 v277. The sounds work great in the sound manager and I have tried adjusting Vol = Csng(BallVel(ball) ^2 / 2000).
