The link is only for the author.

I sent him a pm yesterday. If he releases the version, fine. If not, that's fine too.

I only wanted this table to be fixed because believe it or not I want to play it. It's such an underrated gem among the arcade games. It's actually a great "strategy game" and I'm amazed it didn't become bigger hit than it did. Maybe the mazes were too difficult for the masses... but the challenge is exactly what has always attracted me. Just like Gravitar, the ultimate arcade video game. Baby Pac-Man has invisible mazes too (since maze 8 or 9).

7. FOV and backdrop changed for correct table dimensions and cabinet.

this is not changing the dimensions of the table, it might be visually correcting the look of the table, but not correcting the tables dimensions or play

can you screenshot the your backdrop settings...

Yeah whatever.

The point is that you can't have fully visible backglass on a desktop VP table when the pinball table surface is made so large. It'd be all crooked that way.

My old VP8/9 table had different dimensions but I actually like this larger pinball view more now.

thats why i was asking for the backdrop/pov settings screenshot...

there are things to take into account now in VPX that the old stuff didnt have or care about, there are no specific DT and FS tables any more... now we can  DT, FS, and FSS all in the same table...

building the table to the physical dimensions from the get go is key ... lots of old tables used the 2:1 ratio now we strive to get tables as exact as possible.... in this case I would have a clue what the real table measurements are.

Author(s): Please redownload again from that exact same link. I found a small gameplay issue.

Watch this video. The guy can occasionally kill the ball. I was wrong. Flipper end angles 75 and -75 are more correct, at least on that particular table that the guy plays. Maybe there's variation between machines, huh? When you watch the other (Dave's arcade) video the flippers look different. The drain on this guy's machine also shoots the ball directly to the left hole (unlike all other machines I've seen).

Angles 75 and -75 improve aiming at the targets & captive ball too.

Here's another real table gameplay vid.

I also increased slope to 7 because it looks more on par with the gameplay videos above. Also the previous flipper elasticity was 0.1 which is a bit too low. 0.5 feels better.

Sorry about the changes but I want to make this play as good as possible.

PS: Some nice table visuals added too. I got help from someone. :D

The saucers are really small in the latest upload.  I also recommend changing Wall2 and Wall5 to something like this to reduce or eliminate the constant bouncing of the captive ball on the left:

@Darth: I haven't touched the saucers. Take the file from the Mediafire, make your adjustments and then reupload -> send me the link. Please. Try to figure out the left hole shooting range too.

I'm going to a new year party with my old hockey friends and the hangover will last for 2 days I'm sure. :D

Hmm. They were showing up as "KickerInvisible" for some reason. I don't have "KickerCup2" as an option and I'm on 10.4.

Does anyone know how to get PinMAME to show scanlines?  It works if you open it through PinMAME but not through VPX.

i generated a PinMAME.ini, and changed "scanlines" to 1, deleted babypac.cgf and started it again with .cmd (included below) without "-scanlines", and it works

But not with Test / VPX ... maybe this is a Point to continue for you ...

@Hauntfreaks: There is one issue left. Now when you hit the captive ball, sometimes it gets hit is so hard that the ball bounces back to another side immediately. It shouldn't do that. This wasn't an issue with the previous slope and flipper setting. Any ideas how to increase the captive ball friction inside the horseshoe so it wouldn't bounce back? Hmm...

Other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

I actually just sent Kristian an updated file that hopefully fixes the drop target issue.  I also changed the kicker angles.  I can also reduce the bounce and resend it.
