The flipper stuck is not solved

 

1. Backglass is running in default mode in exe. - Nothing !

 

2. installed the rom file afm_113b.zip before was afm_113.zip and changed the script to the right rom: arcade and credits (afm_113b.zip) - Nothing !

 

3. Run the table and starts a game then exit complete of VPX - made a restart . - Nothing !

 

4. Maybe is the DOF  the problem ?

    I don't know about the actuel version .

That sounds really weird. Would you try to change useSolenoids=2 to a 1. If that helps, then you probably have some old *.vbs scripts ( most probably core.vbs ) inside tables folder.

Ah now it works the problem is solved

That is not the way to solve it. I told you - you have a problem with your scripts if that useSolenoids=2 doesn't work. But, ok - you can play with a random flipper response of 0-20ms making any shot inaccurate for all I care.

onemanproject:  Thalamus is correct. When the issue you describe happens, it is because there are .vbs files in multiple locations, with some outdated.  with the last few versions of vp, it is always best to have .vbs files in the script folder only, none located in the tables folder.  So ensure the ones in the script folder are the latest and ensure you delete all the others. then put back that solenoid line back to = 2 and try again and you will see all should be fixed

Update:

- Fixed lock system

 

I was missing one trigger to enable "Light Lock", and to be able to lock balls.

 

And the "Light Lock" enables not by hitting the ramp as in AFM, but by hitting the lane that goes around the big ufo, actually almost the same as in AFM, only that AFM has a ramp behind the UFO, and ARFM doesn't have that extra ramp.

Thanks for the update JP. This one I've almost completely forgotten. Updates are always great in that way. Improvements, and a reminder to have a new look at the machine. I've got many games where I've gone back, given them a new try and ended up playing them a lot. I guess we're spoiled in how many great games we can choose from.

Yes, we are spoiled with so many games, I have about 800 games in my vpx folder, without counting my own tables, and I do not download all the tables from other sites since many of them need PuP, and I don't use it. Maybe I'm too old, but I don't care much for videos. I think an animation is ok when you get extra ball, jackpot or similar, but videos are not my thing

In this version 3.0 apart from the Arcade Physics 3.0, I have made a few changes to the playfield so it is more similar to AFM, so I moved one of the aliens light to the more normal position, at the side of the 3 target bank. I also changed the small ufo to a more traditional shape.

UPDATE

 

3.0.3 Updated 25.02.2022 

- fixed the ball lost during multiball by adding a playfield mesh with holes and removing the old kicker ball animations.

 

I have also changed a little the saucers graphics, but not much This revision is mostly to add a mesh to the playfield and remove the ball falling into the kicker animation, which sometimes could result is missing balls.

Hahaha, that's my birthday! I guess I'm used to write 25 and 02 after that

 

This reminds me of one time at the school, when I was a teenager, that's almost 50 years ago , and my teacher asked me: "Did you got any presents at Christmas?" And I was "????????". What I did was to write the date like in October, and we were already in April

Fixed the big UFO, thanks to kiwi for the fixed mesh, and I adjusted the graphics so it rotates perfectly, in case you turn on the rotation in the script
