That's a great looking cabinet, and a very smooth paint job.

The Back Box dimension is standard WideBody exception of the width that is 31" 1/2 from outside that give me 30" from inside and the TV is 29" by 18" so I have  free space of 1/2" each side

Looking good gigalula! I'm no bad at Photoshop, but I'm not confident in being able to create print quality images for an Alien cab. If I get some time tomorrow I'll see what I can come up with.

It's never later with masking tape and paper to mask part and voila ! well it's always more easy to say then doing it but if you really want you can do it ;)

Yeah might be a pain. Is the purpose of that to hold the moisture in the wood?

Hooo thanks in advance I'm really looking for something really original and unique ...I already ordered a decals of "Burning Rubber", I like this one but it's not installed yet not even received so if anyone come with a really nice artwork of Alien the movie or Alien vs Predator something really kool for Widebody cab then I will keep on hold "Burning Rubber" for my next Cab...

After playing a full weekend when the cab was pre-assembled I figured that my sons and friends was not patient to wait while the others playing so I took the decision to build another one when the budget will be accessible... so like that they will have the choice and overall everyone will have more pleasure.... :)

Simply download one made by Stuzza to figure out the size and layer required ;)

For me it's a personal choice and to ensure that all is clear when I will play in the box and install stuff nothing really more then that any color inside will not really affect the visual outside so it's nothing really important... Not sure about moisture if it make a difference on a long term but it couldn't be worst ;)

Hey, sorry about the delay. I got swamped at work this week and decided to take a stab at this over a long weekend. There are some obvious issues with this setup, but changes can always be made.

The last weeks was cosmetic and a not so funny wiring party ... :wimper:   LOL... not the most funny part of project but it's needed if you want some feedback... :P

Thanks to my wife for her patience I spend so many hours sometime late in the night. ( Sorry babe   Love you xxx  ) ...

img_2577.jpg

At first I installed the contactors with diode but was not sure where exactly to fix them on the cab so some have been moved later...

img_2578.jpg

I accidently drop a screwdriver and after that I figured that fragile part needed some protection so I installed the nudging device and cover this last with homemade metal case with just enough acces to connector and switch but fully secured from any object that could drop of my hands ;)

img_2582.jpg

img_2583.jpg

I couldn't wait longer to see the door installed... :)  I also fixed some temporary liner tape on the edge to protect the decals.

img_2618.jpg

After it was time to wires some button for IPAC2, Ledwiz32 with SMT booster board... Thanks to Zebulon for the SMT board it was a cake to attach and solder to Ledwiz ...

After few days of wiring and check + double and triple check the whole connections.... it was time for some road test ;)
