does the shaker still require a dual h bridge thingy ?

Depends on how you drive it. If you're using one of my boards or the output kit or something similar, then no.

Exactly right, assuming that I had green and white wire available when I assembled yours. There have been a few that have gone out with different colours. The basic rule of thumb is the 2 long wires are the negative trigger leads for the motors, which is which can be determined by tracing them back to the individual motor.

Well that fixed that issue, hope I didn't harm anything..... I was following the schematic on your site, which has the green going to the shaker and brown to the gear, so I installed it as green to shaker and white (figuring you ran out of brown) to the gear. WRONG. Green was the gear and white was the shaker. Z
