Nice catch yukiko! While it is just 1 lamp, it is actually an important lamp since those indicate which targets need hit. Good job!

v1.1.2 with this fix is uploading now. Or, just do as he mentioned above with the lamp, & you don't have to re-download.

Looks awesome Rob, looking forward to trying it on my cab when the FS is released. From the comments in this thread, its obvious you've given a lot of thought behind all facets of the table, how it bounces, the feel, etc. This usually results in a certain level of randomness which is a plus IMHO.

From your comments on the previous page, am I right in understanding there's a JD FS version released previously?

Yes, just search "Judge Dredd" & it should come up, actually a low rez & high rez version. When I last went to play it, it was buggy & I thought didn't have a good feel to it.

just had more than a few games, its very good... smile.gif
the TILT settings still to hard, 1 nudge "only", as 2 "quick nudge" seems the good feeling on VP and quite all others tables

set up in 3 balls, with EB, and no memory in "mystical lane", else its a nonsense compare with the spirit of the games of that era (but this is personnal taste of course)

bravo again !

Aliens 2, Area 51, Asterix, Bally Tribute, ET, Evel Knievel, Frontier, Galaxian, Inspector Gadget, Lilo & Stitch, Looney Tunes, Lost World, Mata Hari, Night Mission, Power Play, Rayman, Rolling Stones 2, Stalker, Santa Odyssey, Tempest, Timon & Pumbaa, Williams Tribute, World Cup 2002, Zombie

Although I did not get to test out version 1.1, version 1.1.2 feels great! I am loving this version! About the only thing I would suggest that has already been quite well described is how bouncy the rubbers are. I have never played this machine in real life so maybe the rubbers just are this bouncy on this game, after all it is called Mystic.

Congrats to you too. You helped make it happen. Thanks again. You up to doing anything else? I've got a few things from pretty simple to more complex that I'd love to get redrawn.

Felicitaciones por esta fantastica tabla pero en la Mystic original los bonus comienzan con el 9 y no con el 6, en tu tabla Vp8 lo podras notar, es solamente para que quede mas perfecta todavia. Saludos desde Argentina. Cristian

Congratulations on this fantastic table but in the Original Mystic bonuses begin with 9 and not the 6, on your table so you can VP8 noted, is only to make it more perfect yet. Greetings from Argentina. Cristian

I'm not sure what you are saying here. Bonus's start at 9k for me on both VP8 & VP9 versions. Isn't it this way for everybody else too? Or am I not understanding the comment here?

I know, I figured some ppl might not like the strict nudging. But I actually do want it so that 2 quick nudges will TILT. This is how my real pins are set up, & this was how it is on the many dozens of pins I played this past weekend. In fact, Stern's X-Men had the most sensitive TILT out of any game I ever played!
So I think it is fair to allow 1 solid nudge, but after that you need to wait a moment before doing it again, or pay the price.

I set the game to 5 ball because I know the ball times can be fast, & also in 5 ball you get the recommended features such as the alternating spinner lights (to make things more interesting). You could also try 5 ball with Novelty mode, that might allow for quicker games since you don't get extra balls. But if you really want to use 3 Ball, I would recommend checking the 2 spots in the dip menu where it says (3 Ball).
All the settings you currently see, assuming you are using the included nvram, are actually the game recommended defaults from Bally themselves, according to the manual. The only difference is that I use "extra ball" mode here instead of "replay".
But yeah, for better or worse I prefer to publish tables with recommended factory defaults that go along with the cards in the manuals.

If you nudge the table with X and > instead of ? and Z you wont tilt on your first shot. It seems like hard/soft nudge got switched around.

I was gonna slap a monk approved logon on this thing but I havent played the update, was it just an nvram change because I can set that on my own...

Yes grab the update, I just uploaded v1.2 . I think I explained all the changes in the v1.1 update notes found earlier in this thread & also in the original post. The nudge/tilt stuff is fixed & improved.
So yeah, definitely make sure you have v1.2, which I just now uploaded. I'll post the changes, but definitely grab it whether you have 1.0 or 1.1. No major changes, but enough little things that add up. I'll post some of the v1.2 changes shortly, but definitely update.

Thank you! Hey you need to post this stuff into the original Mystic thread. You keep making new threads for each comment.
Can a mod please add his comments to the proper thread & delete these so that there isn't 4 Mystic threads going at once?

I actually have worked on Skateball in the past, but it was just a light mod. It was years ago. I'm not sure it ever got uploaded here, it was a VP6 or 7 table, but I do think its newer than the version available here. I would love to work on a new one though, but the issue with that table I think has always been lack of resources (pics). I was just at a place with dozens & dozens of old Bally's, & none of them were Skateball. I still have yet to play it in real life.
