Thanks for the update Rob. This is a real cool table, it would be nice to have the DMD working. Guess I'll have to wait for a B2S backglass I guess ;)

I think i need to renew my membership or some thing ill do that now LOL

ill take a look at this table this weekend, its probably just not supported yet in the .dll

ah quickly looked up the table, i think that tech that has the really long alphanumeric display and i couldn't fit that amount of digits on the DMD or some thing that might be the reason its not supported. ill have a another look though :)

yeah its that tech that has a 2x20 digit alphanumeric display, my current virtual alphanumeric font is as small as you can go and i cant fit 20 digits per line on the 128 pixel wide displays.

Not sure what to do with this tech, my font is 8 pixels wide, so i can fit in 16 digits max, I could center the 2x20 and chop off the first 2 digits and last 2 digits? I guess it would be better then nothing?

Any ideas? :)

I'm not sure Russ. I don't think chopping off digits is worth the time, that'll look kinda weird. Would there be a way to divide the score by 10 or something to make it smaller. I think cutting off the last 4 of the score may be better than losing the all important first couple.

Maybe this is just one of those tables that having an active backglass is a must. Hopefully there's not a lot of these 2x20 tables about. Thank you so much for looking into it.

I don't think you can cut it into more then 2 rows as all the animations will look weird  I think your right, its once of those displays that is just to big for the 128px DMD :( better to keep the virtual pinMAME version on the back glass :)

I'm going to wait for a B2S version, don't wanna install UVP now so late in the game.

This rendition of Robo-war is looking and sounding amazing, and is a real blast to play.

That's why it saddens me to report an issue I have on every computer I tried it on, which makes me guess it has something to do with the recent versions of VP.

The ball is rendered on top of the bumpers and plastics. I see these are drawn on the GI layer and there is additionnal walls shaped as plastics and 3 bumpers, all with black colors making them invisible. I guess they are supposed to hide the ball, but they don't.

Am I having really bad luck with the 3 computers I tried the table on, or is it related to a new behavior of recent versions of VP ? Is it fixable ?

This is one of my all-time favourite VP tables.  A great retro feel to it.  The ball going over the bumpers is a problem when played in the DX9 version.  It has been mentioned before and will require some changes, although it will need a bit of VP knowledge from what I read previously.

When reverting back to VP 9.21, the table works indeed as intended. I can live with that :)

Did I say it was a kickass VP table already ?
