How's the desktop version of this coming along?

yes its finished, i just need to send it to unclewilly to double check a small problem i'm having with the apron leds display. after that it'll be release...
sorry its taken so long but its not too far away now.

i've also finished the update for the FS table with the new layback angle, but just need UW to look at the same thing on that too.

Thanks for the update!

I found this video of someone playing a Rocky on Youtube. If you listen long enough, you can hear the words "Round ...." with the round number being said. I haven't played the VP version of Rocky in a while, but will check it later to see if there is a dip switch for the speech. I don't have access to the computer which has my VP games on it at the moment.

OK. Just checked my old VP8 desktop version of this table, and there is a dip switch for speech in this game. If you do not have Inkochnito's dip switch script for this table in the table script, when you press F6 to bring up the dip switch menu form, turn dip switch 6 on to get the speech. If you do have the script, when you press F6 there should be a checkbox marked Speech in the lower right quadrant of the form. Place a check in that box to enable speech. In both cases, after you have enabled the box, click on the OK button and then press F3 to reset the table.

hey guys,
as mentioned before the desktop and fullscreen (layback) versions are all complete. except we are still having a little trouble with the leds display on the aprons sometimes not matching what is displayed in the pinmame box, is there anyone interested in having a look that i can send both tables to? as this has got us stumped?

this is all that has been holding these tables back and once its done they can both be released.

My mod of this table I did a few years back, which also has the apron displays, seems to work just fine.
Just note that the pinmame window has the numbers reversed on the bottom. The 2 digits on the lower left are actually what should be displayed on the right on the apron (round being fought), & the 2 digits in the lower right of the pinmame window are actually the 2 digits closer to the rail on the apron (rounds won). I noticed this years ago since it was pretty obvious they were in the wrong spots in pinmame window.

Not sure if that is your problem or not, but it sounds like it could be. Simply just play the game, & make sure the round being fought is correct & rounds won is correct, & that stuff is easy enough to keep track of while playing. I'll gladly look at it if you like, I'm somewhat familiar with the game & have been waiting for this desktop version for a while. I never uploaded my old mod here cuz I knew this was being worked on & likely released soon enough.

hi rafaelobligado

it's not me who created Rocky.
I just converted the table to 1up.
just for testing and how was the game 4:3.
I think 1up unlock this version....soon.
Be a little patient. It takes time to develop a table.

Partly my fault probably. I was fixing things for 1up, & then I forgot about it! But I sent it to him yesterday. However, 1up if you are listening, maybe use Serpiko's bumpers? They are better than what is on there now, IMHO. Serpiko why did you use orange posts?

I think 1up would fix the small display.
so there is no 4:3 version for now.
I am currently working on a new table.
If this version of ROCKY does not come out,I would help 1up,if he asks me......

I wanted to give a test on the rubbers.I robbed a JP's table.(sorry JP) to measure the degree of elasticity.
I made lots of tests on stripping tables, and this is the post I had chosen for the beta.

Thanks serpiko for this great table! Yes there is a lot of elasticity on this table that makes it play fast (and tough, but in a good way). I think the pinball wizards are really going to love this table. I know i do dblthumb.gif
