Thanks Billy! The table looks great with the new score display and new backdrop. I played 2 games and it plays well also. I can't believe Tiltjlp gave this table 3 stars in the rating box, maybe he hit the wrong button.

Thank you Bob! smile.gif
Tiltjp has the right to give their opinion about the table... I won't judge him.
You may notice that I only comment when I like the table (either constructive criticism or praise)....
... and about Bob's tables you can be sure... I like too much them all!!!! dblthumb.gif

I tried to make a table given the best of me and within my limitations of knowledge.
Now I want to try to rebuild a real table of the 80's. Can you tell me if it is hard to "connect " the rom to a table?

I've only made one table with a ROM. I used the script by Gaston from an earlier version of Amazing Spider-man, notice his name is on the author list. Most authors would let you use their script if the table has already been done in VP. Destruk has scripted almost all of the tables out there and he would definitely let you use his script. If you do this, you are not really updating an old table, you are creating a new table. I had no interest in learning how VPM worked, but I still learned a lot at the time, mostly forgotten now. smile.gif

Good luck.

Actually, I must have hit the wrong star, because I intended to rate it 4 stars. I really like the table, but it's a bit too dark for me, which makes it hard to see all the objects on the table. Sorry about that Billy. Just got the new version.

converts to WS for my widescreen monitor and looks great with an x-scale of 0.8925

I am getting some odd ball stutter though, kinda like its skipping more then stuttering. At first I thought it was just the ball going underneat the plane decals but not quite. Other then that its still really playable and a lot of fun smile.gif

Hi Sabbat! smile.gif I'm happy to see that you're having fun.

When I made the table, I thought and tryed to make the gameplay close a real pin, where you need to control the ball on flippers to be able to play well. And do not play "petecando" as we say here when you just hit the ball up "randomly" not trying to control it to hit/aim the targets or ramps... For those who like to play
"petecando" smile.gif I dont know how to say it in english ... the game gets harder... increase the chances to lose the ball.

But If you stop the balls on flippers for some time, in multiball for example, where are three balls in play It's really possible to happen the ball stutter caused by two or more balls stopped. I dont know why this effect occurs at some tables. For this reason I gave up putting a captive ball in te table.
Overall, the game runs fine on my PC six years old.

Thanks! smile.gif
Cheers!

I get some amazing ball stutter too. But then again most of the newer pins tend to make my computer go into overtime with the processing power needed to run them! very nice table for a first one though! nice ball play, even flipper play time, nice events! A little too busy of an upper pf for me (my reflexes and eyesight both suck!) but it plays well! Very good table, now what about your next one?

@ Faralos: (my reflexes and eyesight both suck!) laugh.gif
Thanks Faralos for all help and comments.
Well, I am with plans to redo a Brazilian taito. Destruk has done a lot of them, but in VP or VP8, and if he doesn't mind I'd like to ask help with scripts. Tab and JP also made some taito in VP9. First, I need to get a good playfield pic. I dont know how these guys redraw the playfields so perfectly...
Here, we have a pinball club with all machines... shark, vortex, meteor, cosmic, rally, titan, walkman, zarza, oba-oba, etc... But I must be lucky enough to have one in maintenance to take pictures.

I had a bug happen while playing lastnight billy. I think multiball caused it. The MIDWAY drop targets on the upper playfield, 3 of them stayed down forever. I was actually suppose to hit the blinking M in midway too but their was no target.

Sabbat, you're right!
My bad .... blush.gif I thought that I had fixed everything…
But it is not because of multiball. I forgot something in the drain routine when the game is over. If you hit the upper drops when “MIDWAY” is Lit, but can't complete before the game is over. So, if you start a new game the drops will continue dropped. It’s easy to fix it right now.
Sorry!

I also think that fisch is right too… The balls are going too easy through the outlanes… I’ll also adjust this a little.

I forgot to say, WH help me with the script to choose the number of balls in play. Thanks Dan!

@ piki: This is an original table created by my disturbed mind. smile.gif There are no roms. Enjoy!

Thanks!
