Can anyone tell me how to find the freeplay option for this table, I am not seeing it in the Adjustments Screen.

To manually set up the nvram to accept coins, do the following:

After the self test and when it says Game Over, Press 7, Wait for it to show you the menu with bookkeeping, adjustments, selftest, etc - press left flipper 3 times to move the highlight to adjustments, press right flipper to select that option, press 1, press 1, then quit and replay the table and you have your nvram set to accept coins, etc.

Hope this helps.

I'm having the same issue others have posted about in this thread. Problem is this solution isn't working for me like it has for others. The pin loads fine when I invoke it from my VPMan menu. When I press 7 nothing happens. I've tried F7 as well. I don't see any kind of menu at all. I hear credits loading when I press the credit buttons but the display continues to show 0 credits. Is there a different way to invoke this menu or do I have something mapped incorrectly? Please advise. Thank you!

When you are pressing the 7 key, are you pressing it on the numeric keypad or on the top row of keys?

(Stupid question I know, but I just want to verify you are pressing the correct key)

You should be using the 7 on the top row of keys (the key with the ampersand above the 7 on English keyboards).

The function key F6 has no effect for Gottlieb System 3 tables. All adjustments should be made through the ROM menu.

I don't use VP-Man, so I don't know if there is any change in the keyboard mapping using that program, but I believe there should not be any change unless you made a change (either in VP-Man or in the VP editor). If what is listed still doesn't work, check the key mapping in both programs to see if there is any difference between the two.

I am pressing the 7 key that has the ampersand on it. I will do more checking on it tonight. I can try to launch it directly out of VP 9.12 to see if that makes a difference or not.

Good idea! That way if it works straight through VP9 then you can look at the key mapping in VP-Man to see if it is different than VP9.

One thing I can suggest is this:

Download one of the other Teed Off roms (teedoff or teedoff2), go into the script and change the line:

cGameName = teedoff3

to one of the rom name you have downloaded, then download the pre-configured nvram pack from this site, extract the contents to your nvram folder and then try to play the game. Since you are having that much trouble configuring the teedoff3 nvram maybe using one of the other roms with one of the pre-configured nvrams will get you going.

You can download the pre-configured nvram pack from this link: http://www.vpforums....u...l&f_id=1362

I think I know what the problem is now that I think about it some more. A while back I was having issues with some games when I pressed the left flipper button. It would bring me into the diagnotistics menu. Turned out b/c I had the flipper button mapped to a 7 it was doing this....so I disabled the 7 by editing the vpmkeys file. I may need to enable it again so I can get these options back just for this game to change the settings one time and then disable it again.

No problem, JMON. Glad to be of help.

BTW....that procedure should work for the FS version as both tables use the same rom, so they both should use the same procedure.
