I have built a few cabinets, some kits but mostly fully completed cabinets with monitors and all of the usual pinball hardware
ie; door,buttons,side rails,built them using plywood based on a mixture of Gottlieb,Stern, Bally,Williams cabinet design.
They cost me around $1000 just for the cabinet with pinball hardware, then the monitors, glass, and computer
total price well over $4500 each, the price for the ones being sold here is more then reasonable and they look great too.
Not to mention that it takes well over 100 hours to build each machine and set up the software.
I still feel the market here in Australia is pretty small compared to US market.
Well just my 2 cents anyway.
Good luck on your venture, they look fantastic, if they play just as good then your on a winner.

The 42" starts at $4995. Both monitors run at 1080p with great results.

I failed to mention the audio in the first post ...

4" 180W 3-way speakers and a 600W 10" subwoofer inside the cab for a great 'bump' effect.

I know what your saying. I'm totally stoked. LOL I have'nt been this anxious to buy something in years. I started working on the funds as soon as i saw this post and i'll be ready to buy very soon. I can't wait. It will definitely be AWESOME !!

I got a good look at this at expo and this is a very high quality machine. It your looking at buying a VP/FP cab this would be the one to get.

I agree that these are worth the price. Being Oak Plywood, they should last forever. Certainly longer than the most robust hardware inside. I hope that monitors with the exact same dimensions continue to exist well into the future.

What does one of these weigh in working order?

Do they show Windows on the backglass? Is a keyboard usually a part of a cabinets hardware? Are they usually networked to a PC?

They weigh nearly the same as a real pin. Roughly 300-350lbs. for a standard, and closer to 350-400 for a widebody.

They show whatever the user wants to show when not running the frontend with the playfield monitor displaying Windows for table and other configuring. When running the frontend, the playfield shows the table image and wheel, backglass monitor shows the backglass of the selected table, and the DMD shows the VirtuaPin logo, which, again, is entirely customizable.

Keyboard is not included standard, though there PS2 and USB ports available, and they are network-ready.

Have you been thinking of doing a pinball controller? Quite a few on the market? Sure, there is Pinball wizard but it's not quite what im looking for and i would like a similar version like the pinball wizard, but without the "box" but the wirering>buttons>plunger>coin machine

That is the part i can't do myself becouse i don't have experience with it
