Is it possible in the future to add multiplayer into VPX? It's more like VPM or VPX job and how hard it can be?

Sounds simple, 4 players connected to 1 lobby (host table) and 1 rom to handle game, giving control of flippers each player.

I know it's not easy but it's possible, do you even think about it guys?

I wanna know what you think.

One day i'll build Vitalik statue out of used AMD gpu's.

Would it be good, to have the ROM-Settings in VP Editor, like this ?
Maybe "hidden" and other ROM-Settings too ...

Yes, but the script code is kind of a black box to the UI, so unless one just patches (e.g. search and replace) text in the script, based on what you enter in there, it's no easy task.

Playing with stereo again, but having same trouble as I did a while back.  I can get Over/under to work, but nothing with Side by Side.  trying to play with Oculus rift and seems OK with big screen in void room looks pretty good.  I think side by side would look better though.  When I choose SBS it doesn't do anything.  I'm running nvidia 1080 with latest drivers.  Anyone else notice this, or even better anyone else tried VP in the rift or vive?   This is going to be great as PinballFX2 plays awesome in Rift.

WOW!!!!!  I just went through and played a little with the Rift on BigScreen with Top/Bottom turned on and it plays and looks incredible.  I wish there was a way to show this off.  Incredible Dev team.  this is awesome!!!!!!!

WTF, yeah I have a 3 in the registry when picking SBS.  Interlaced doesn't seem to work for me either.  What kind of video card do you have.  I have tried on 3 machines (all nvidia 1050, 1060, & 1080) with all the same results, only TB working.  Do you have a Rift?  this is so cool, but I think it would look better with SBS (1920 vs 1080 /2, but what do I know).   Will continue testing

Funny as today I also played with Midnight magic from another site from the atari 2600 days, incredible how far we have come.

Another test on an old lenovo thinkpad (integrated Graphics) nothing on SBS, but once again TB works.  Are you changing any other values like separation, etc?  I'm not

I remember a few years back when you add this stuff, it worked for me, very strange.  Any logging that could tell us anything?  Thanks for you time on this.  It will truely blow people away when trying with a Rift.

Just did a clean install on a MS Surface Pro 3 and have the same results,  at a loss for what could be going on, Only video change from default was to change resolution to windowed fullscreen, all rest was left untouched.

@fuzzel

So I set up a test table from the default table to hit some drop targets. did not test every angle, offset, etc, but started with targets dead ahead of kickers and just rotated the drop targets until I started seeing issues, which was at 29 degrees, but only for DropTargetBeveled, and then at 31 degrees for DropTargetFlatSimple.  It seems like DropTargetSimple works as it should at whatever angle, up to around 85 degrees when still directly in front of the kicker, which seems reasonable, at least to me.

I then started playing with offsetting the targets from right in front of the kicker so the ball more hit the center of the target when at an angle, and could get the Beveled and FlatSimple to work up to higher angles, but they definitely more sensitive to exactly where they are hit when at an angle.

DropTargetFlatSimple is the one I have been using primarily due to it being the closest resemblance to Gottlieb drop targets of the 70s-80s, so according caused me issues when I turned off legacy.  For the current project I'm working on I can switch to DropTargetSimple and I expect after this testing that it will work as I want.

For the future though, I think it would be nice if the DropTargetBeveled and DropTargetFlatSimple were to behave like DropTargetSimple.

Here is the table I did the testing with if you want to play around with it, just run it and it automatically kicks balls at the targets every 4 or 5 seconds.  https://www.dropbox....t_test.vpx?dl=0

VP Plus had network player support back in 2010...

I picked up the rift with the $399 summer deal. I wish the larger gaming companies would invest in VR games but having a lot of fine with it. I did not know you could try VP with it. I will have to setup VP on my gaming machine

This is absolutely insane.. I just replicated your settings on my laptop using official 10.3.1.. Also works as expected for me..

Especially the fact that TB works is stunning. Cause the exact same pixel shader is responsible for doing either TB or SBS or Interlaced. So why the heck would TB work and not the other two??

And also consistently on three machines on your end??

Another question guys - is it possible to imitate Stern's Terminator 3 backglass in VPX?

You know RPG mode, maybe it's possible with B2S but i think it needs too many snip frames to get decent animation. Right?
