@ced why not JPs 3.0 version? (I play this on 10.6, should I try 10.7? would physics be different?)

not 3.0 ? not up to date yet but i am now :)

I believe that the updates of the tables of jp'salas are made with 10.7 , better choice I think.

if it ws3.0.1 it wont start under 10.6 but the latest transformers 3.0 requires 10.6 "only"

@ pezima - watch out - I had some frog legs for breakfast ;-)

3.0 with 10.7 is no problem, but 3.0.1 with 10.6 would be. For stamina better have a 'Schweinshaxe mit Sauerkraut' ;-)

I still need to update all the JP tables on my cabinet. Didn't update a lot of tables since november. But .. updated today to 10.7 beta, installed (finally) flex dmd (@scutters, this library looks pretty good and easy to use), updated to freezy 1.8.2 and installed latest doflinx as well.
So I can updated all tbe tables and use Jp's 3.0.1 tables.
Now ot os waiting for a new release of Pinemhi (to support the new roms and the 5 min challenge)

331ddabcc742f0ba74791e946eb0f791.gif Try PinballX Database manager as a replacement of PinballX's game list manager
With special thanks to Scutters

There was a fine line between the 3.0 and 3.1 updates for ol' JP...and I'm in the middle of it. LoL.  I've only exported POV's and updated tables on a need-to-play basis.

On a side-note...his small table sizes STILL BAFFLE MEEEEEEEEEEEE.  Wild.

He only makes the graphics files as big as they must be and only makes the DPI as high as is needed to look good on your average screen
no 600dpi 8k images

He also does not use 70 images, when one image will do.
And he keeps his DMD images small usually 64x64 and 128x32 pixels

He also does not go overboard on the audio files
Flipper sound does not need to be 192k stereo

Now that does not work out for him on all tables
Diablo will never be tiny  unless he really stripped it down

He also uses small mono wave files for everything that would be directional or does not need to be stereo

Me, my art talents suck, and i have to use high DPI to make up for the fact that i dont know what the hell i am doing

or i cant get smooth lines and text etc

Also, he only uses prims where he has no other choice because it wont look good
Prims take up a lot of space, walls do not, nor ramps

I am guilty of prim happiness
Oh this prim screw looks lovely
I need 72 of those

Hi ced,

unfortunate with such a nice score...

billions should be no problem.

could be  the internet connection from your side or a problem at the pinemhi server side.

if it's the first score then the nvram probably saved ok by the looks of the log.

just bad luck i suppose...can't do anything about it. :(

Hopefully it doesn't happen again

:drinks:
