Enhanced the colours, adjusted some things and used photozoom to upscale all the art with better resolution. :)

Stuzza what do you think about photozoom?  Is there a certain minimum res or dpi or whatever that you need to give photozoom enough data to work with?  What output settings do you configure on photozoom to give you a high enough quality piece of art to look good printed?

Obviously I try to use as high a resolution art to start with.  From there if a particular picture I want to use needs to be enlarged too much in photoshop I'll use photozoom to do it instead.  Most images you download on the net are 72dpi.  I use photozoom pro v2 which has the option to specify dpi.  So I start by changing the dpi to 300.  Then I adjust the size to what I need it so I don't have to enlarge it anymore in photoshop.  Most images with a lot of detail I use - S-Spline XL - with the preset of "reduce noise/artifacts".  This smooths out the blockiness and seems to look good enough for printing.  I then save it as a non compressed PNG.  This ends up with a huge file, but at least I know the quality is much better.

In the spirit of Christmas here is the Alien Legacy art available as a free download! :)  Sizing should be correct for a Virtuapin widebody cab so if you have one of those all you'll need to do is print!

Aren't all of these free?  I've just been following the thread, not using any of your files since I have no cabinet (*maybe* someday).  I do a lot of graphics work on another forum completely not pinball related, and sometimes people pay me for the work, but I just do it to help out the community over there.  I am sure that people say "thank you" a lot, but I also know that it takes time, and time used for creating these is time that you can't be doing something else.  So as someone who has never used your artwork, and would probably make my own to have a 100% unique pinball (again, *if* that ever happens), I still say "thank you" for contributing your talents to this community of people.

Nickbuol what forum is your work at? Always looking for cool ideas for my Arcade Video Game cabs.

I am sure xav72 got lost in translation and he is "commanding" but offering inspiration just in case stuzza runs out of ideas. The idea of an F1 cab causing me to consider a second pin and I haven't even started the first.

Thanks stuzza for the new art, I really have to finish my "Pinball Universe" machine so I can get people interested in having me make cabs that I can put your art on with out me spending all my money.

Yes all the ones I have posted for download are completely free. (over 40 sets!!) :)   However I have done some commissioned work for a few members who wanted something specific, unique and resized to suit there particular cabinet.  The Alien Legacy was actually going to be a commissioned piece as it was a special request which would have been custom sized etc.., but the user has had some bad luck of late.  Also others were interested in it so I decided to just release it.

I try to release as much free art as possible, but get requests all the time now for paid work for one offs.  Happy to continue doing both. The small amount of money I do get for these one offs has helped keep me motivated to create new art.   :)

I like helping the community in this was as it is something I can contribute.  There seemed to be no high res free pinball art available when I started all this at the beginning of the year.  Now at least anyone can add some sort of decent graphics to help finish off their pincabs.

Formula One sounds like a cool idea.  No idea what "druuna" is??  Happy to take suggestions for future artwork. :)

Thanks.  Yeah, coming up with something original is the hardest part.  It is easy to learn how to do things in Photoshop but very hard to make something look good when starting with nothing!! LOL  I normally start by collecting as many resources as possible to do with that particular theme.  Then start working with what I have.  Sometimes I get inspiration from art I've seen elsewhere.  I find myself looking at all advertising and signs now everywhere I go and trying to look at what makes the art look good. Sometimes it takes a while to get a good piece together though.  Some of the art I had to come back to after a few weeks and have another go as I was getting nowhere the first time.
