10.3.1 has just been released (most prominently featuring the UI crash fixes, see changelog for all changes)..

Haven't tried with VPX.3 but with previous version. Quit the player and do File -> Save

That was it, cheers.

I just installed the latest stand-alone from page 1. But in the help, it still says 10.3.0 Final.

Did I install the latest? If not, could you please link me to the 10.3.1 standalone?

Thanks

I think I found an issue with 10.x (not sure when it started).  I installed an accelerometer in a MAME machine (actually playing desktop mode) and its having trouble calibrating in center.  The trouble is when I start a vpx table it asks me to click yes to add a ball to the trough or no to remove one.  Its like the b key is being hit, but its not.  When I run VP9.94 I do not get this message.  The other issue is that if I uncheck use analog nudge the ball still jumps right to the top of the table.  It does this in both 994 and 10.3.1.  I thought it I uncheck this box it would "disable" the accelerometer.  What am I missing?  I know I have to get my accelerometer tuned but these issues are strange.  Win10x64 creative edition.  My real pincab works fine though (a different accelerometer, although both are zebs boards ones)

On my table I run Kodi and Pandora so I like to have the Magna Save and Flipper buttons set to the arrow keys so that I can navigate through menus with just these buttons and the "Start" button (set to Enter).  I don't remember this being an issue with VP 10.2 but in VP 10.3.0 the arrow keys seem to move the overhead camera location on the X/Y axis so I can't use these buttons to change the settings in Camera/Light Mode.

Is there some way to disable the new overhead camera location/arrow key feature so that I can use the arrow keys to navigate the Camera/Light Mode?

Hi Toxie / Fuzzel,

I'm not sure if this has been covered before but could I request that the slingshot subs in the default table contain a timer interval of 10 or 20

so that when these are copied to a WIP table or when the base is used as a starting point, the rubbers snap out and back in quickly rather than at their default

duration.

First world problem I know, but I'm installing a heap of tables at the moment after a six month break and noticed that a heap of tables that otherwise look spectacular

have sling shot rubbers that look like they're animated at 5 FPS so I'm going through them and editing.  Yes I am lazy :)

Thanks in advance.

VPX, The missing adjustment?
I was playing a few real pins today and it struck me that viewing angle is often different to VPX. To make the most of the screen tables tend to be set with a top down view in VPX which is different to the real thing. Playing with the inclination it made me realise why. If you up the inclination to a more realistic angle the apron and the plunger tend to go off screen and the back of the table becomes to narrow. We only have X and Y adjustments and adjusting Y to see the full apron will leave the back of the table very narrow and are wasting a lot of screen real estate? Then is struck me what we are missing (trapezoid type adjustments) to make the apron end of the table narrower and the back of the table wider to balance off the increased inclination.
Any Thoughts?

My thoughts are you will end up with crazy distortion. And you should play more with all of the settings in the camera tool (f6).

Inclination is the trapezoid option. But I guess you are asking about skew or something like keystone adjustment. Hmmm....
