Any error messages?

Did you copy the latest VBS files from the VP10 thread and use the latest VPM from the VPM alpha/beta thread?

No error messages, only default windows7 crash message

I've copied (unpacked) the vbs.zip in the VP10 archive to the Tables Folder

I'm currently using the same VPM that I always used, cannot find VPM Alpha/Beta here

Edit:

Solved, I've found VPM beta thread

Thanx Toxie, for this and all the work you are doing!

Are you using the latest exe release? Also there were several updates along the way so ensure when you update you don't just change the exe but also replace the dll and vbs that is included in tbe zip

@pincade: there is a weird bug when using the original VPM cabinet version from the site along with VP10 for some people. with the official release of VP10 there will also be a release of the new VPM i guess.

I've perfectly solved by using the old "setup" and installing the VPM beta just downloaded.

All tables works now.

New table for VP10: THE LEYEND OF ZELDA

This table is based on the layout of Medieval Castle by Roney Pinball for FP. Loadedweapon made a FP table and he asked me if I could make a VP table, so here it is a VP10 table for you to try :)

Loadedweapon made the sound and the graphics, and I made the VP table. The table doesn't use any rom and it only use primitives for the pegs and screws. The rest is done "old style" using walls and "new" things like the ramps which use the new wire ramps from VP10 and the rings on the ramps are made with rubbers, and I used lights for all the effects, gi and flashers :)

The table is mostly made for the desktop since I made the dmd using two layers of reels, but I have included the FS parameters on the backdrop. I guess Loadedweapon will make a special version with a B2S for all cab users.

There is a manual in the zip which explains the rules and the shots. Actually there are no complicated modes, but there are enough to do and the meaning is to have fun and score many points :)

(I wrote the manual myself, so expect some "Yoda" language there, hahaha)

Greetings

JP

Edit: I forgot to write that the table is available at my site, you know in the signature :) This until VP10 gets released and Noah makes a download area for VP10 tables :)

I updated road kings to the build 1920 with new plunger objects and what not.  Still missing some lights on the backboard (hoping for a rotatable light object.. :)).  Same link as before:  https://dl.dropboxus.../Road Kings.vpx

JP, i'm in love with that table! All the zelda music and sounds... even epona when launching the ball, and navi saying "Watch out!" Amazing job! Beautiful lighting and art, even a deku scrub on the playfield <3

Just one thing isn't working 100%, i think. On the DMD the left side of the text seems cut off?

@JP

On your download page, are you editing the listed tested VP10 version your tables will run on? It says ver1855 currently..

Thanks for your great tables.

Rich

I have edited the text :) I always test the latest version with the tables, and I may update them when something new comes up. like for ex. the new plunger.

That's not easily done. The DMD is made with reels, since this table is an original table. In its current state VP10 only can update one screen, so you'll need a special version of the table with a B2S version. I guess Loadedweapon will do that sooner or later :)

And for the DMD not showing some letters: you need at least version 1920, since there was a problem with the drawing order of the objects on the backdrop.
