Hi guys. As I said earlier, now that I have a real job  :), I changed from 8h a day on UP3D to 6h... a week :(.

So, no, we do not update a lot these days and we are really sorry about that. But we do not give up!

Next update is bug fixing, documentation and mainly table creators aimed, plus new tables...

We also reworked flippers physics and added Dof support...

More to come about this release.

Cheers

Any chance to release new version before the end of the year?

Anyway,it's a great software, physics is much better than FP,but could be running little faster, not everyone have money for hi tech hardware.

congrats on your new job, I'm sure your company is lucky to have you working for them.  Thanks for the update, GREAT news about the DOF integration as that is such a great system and add so much to gameplay.

Bilbox, any news ?

Yep. We spend a lot more time that previous months on UP, because we are building a new table from scratch...

Regarding soft, I am rewriting shaders system and we have to retuen physics on all our previous tables because we implemented some new physics features, as "Ball Speed Limit" to prevent "gun shots"...

No release date yet, sorry, though we would like to release before christmas...

Good to hear from you guys.  I am dying to convert FP tables over to this and was leery to start if UNIT3D wasn't going to be supported anymore.  Have you guys considered taking on more help now that you have full time jobs?

Will the next release be more friendly for describing how to make tables (ROM and Originals)?  Will it be a Beta or RC1?

Kepping fingers crossed for next release by 1 year anniversary of the pre Alpha!!

I just spent some actual time with this, it really is awesome. It looks great, it needs stuff done under the hood, a better editor, and maybe some good tutorials on converting/making tables for it... is there any chance of getting rid of the need for a special pinmame dll? it would be great to get away from the need for that. I look forward to seeing updates to this!

the new alpha/beta builds of pinmame 2.6 already have all the features of the unit3d team incorporated.

it is not. Did you subscribed just to ask this question?

Thanks for this kind word... We will, but we don't want to release crap. If we have to, we will prefer to defer by some weeks. I know it looks like we don't work, almost no videos and all, but we do...
