plug pindmd in
point the 'windows has found new hardware' search to the driver folder

Some more feedback for anyone thinking that hiding the dmd in the table script then making that the default in the registery, it doe`s not work - bummer!.
Also russ can we have a pimame.dll based on the cabinet build please to lose the splash screen.
Other than that I am a very happy camper the dmd is a magnitude better thankyou russ.

That sucks. But at least we can drag it mostly offscreen until the code to eliminate it is up and working.
Or is that just FP that lets you drag things off screen. Can't really remember if VP does that or not.

Hi, yep it was fast but it did only have to come four miles smile.gif
Had some hiccups installing onto XP64 as pinmame.dll needed both the 32 and 64bit ftd2xx.dll before it would install.
Once pinmame installed I needed the drivers for the chip itself and I used the CDM20814_Setup.exe from the downloads section from the link given in the install guide.
Was not too bad really, just need to start editing all those tables again.

Yeah all runs fine, no problems at all.
Oddly enough I cylcled past your place yesterday but the guy I was with is training for an ironman so stopping was out of the question.
Maybe try to do a vid tomorow but have no tripod so may be crappy.
Ps I am sure that polarity is not an issue with the pindmd, in the install guide on the site they keep talking about a rectifier (diode bridge maybe)?, anyway mine is fine but then again I may just be lucky.

if you set the .hidden = 1 does it not hide the virtual DMD?

Yes thats exactly what I did, but you need to do that for each table individually.
I was hoping to find a global fix, also tried using the dmd mover tool from wolfsoft and set size and position to 0 for the dmd then set that as default but no go.
its back to editing ,reminds me of when I changed them all to UVP and later scraped that when I got a ledwiz.

Oh, ok. So we can edit each table on it's own.
That is ok with me. I guess I have about 80 tables to take the DMD off of.

Snotz has kindly added the '.ShowPinDMD = 0' feature that will disable the pinDMD board smile.gif
this combined with '.hidden=0' will now give you full control over which dmd is visible smile.gif

he has also compiled my pinDMD code into the cabinet version of the .dll smile.gif
soon as its ready i will upload smile.gif
