Sorry. Yes, update for Droid.
I actually got excited. I fired up my 360, and it said there was an update for pinball arcade. Downloaded the update and played the game. Then in the game it said again there is an update and it asks if you want to download it. I hit yes, and it says there is no downloadable content. There are no new tables, I don't get it.

I don't mind being called a PINHEAD!

Heres a "real" bug. Probably not so much a bug, as this could actually happen on a real table.
I tried to shake it out and tilted. Should have just called attendant to start with.
Sucks to be in Oz sometimes- we get everything last- no extras available here yet.
(actually- never sucks to be in Oz- just dont let anything bite you)

I played the new tables on Android 2nite. & let me say, after a month of playing these games on my new iPad3, I can see the differences between apple & android more than ever. However the basic physics seem pretty close still between platforms.
The good news with the new DLC is that they do seem to have just as good, if not better physics as the last DLC, which is good. Things are going in the right direction. & between this & maybe the last update, I find TOTAN, RBION, & BOP to play better as well, & have less bounce on the flippers. This leaves MM, CV, & I guess ToM with still a little work to be done.
For me to truly judge physics I really have to test on my iPad, for the ultimate testing. But things seem good. We should be happy about this. Graphics seem to be what you would expect as well. & I believe more beta testing was done on these tables than previous DLC, so lets hope there isn't many bugs this time.
1 gripe. They put the damn BK magnasave buttons soooo far away from the flippers! GRRR! I was saying weeks ago that I hoped this wouldn't happen, this was my 1 main concern. Owning a BK2K myself, I know how important the fast magnasave reflexes are in order to really enjoy the game properly. So when you have to move you hand 6 inches on a tablet, in a hurry, & hit the small button... or on phone have to move your thumb a few inches & hit an even smaller button... I'm just not down with that. They must fix that or else people won't experience BK properly, at least on the touch devices. I'm sure this will be sorted out better on consoles.

@moogster66 The title update for the 360 is required for the DLC tables, so that update had to be released first. Now that this one is out, the first optional update (DLC pack 1) shouldn't take too long before it is released. There, however, is not yet announced a release date.

A couple of things I found annoying on the PS3 version is
1) You have to delete and re-download TPA in order to play any new tables. Kind of a brainless move on Farsight's part. I've never had to re-download a the original game to play an expansion or update before.
2) The new tables don't appear to add any new trophies (and I can only assume they won't add any new achievements on the 360 if new tables are ever added there).
The tables on PS3 do play all right otherwise. Been playing more Pinball FX2 on 360 though

I have android and want to know how magna save works on Black Knight
I just talked about this 5 posts ago, read paragraph 2.
This DLC came out for iOS last night too. These 2 tables indeed are even better than last month, certainly every bit as good but I say better because Gorgar has a fuzzy lower PF. Physics are still going in the right direction as well. Mind = blown. I don't even really play on the console anymore. In some ways the games both look & play better on ipad3 than console, amazingly.

How I tilt on the iPad 2 version? I don't know how to do it. Tables seem doesn't have a tilt support.
Go into options first, then see if you are set to shake or touch nudging. It might be touch by default. I prefer shake nudging. The only current problem with it though is that you have to do it a certain way. Like a forward shake won't do anything. What you need to do is give the ipad a quick shake that is more like rotating the screen like 45 degrees. I guess you might say is is a really quick turn in either direction. It does work, but you just have to play around with it to get used to it.

Can you turn the scrolling of the table playfield off?
I really, really hate that feature.

Yes, you can choose to lock the display into a static display, or scroll. However, I actually prefer the scrolling. Normally I would hate it, but it is actually well done now, even helpful. Using the right camera angle, scrolling is fine. Technically I wouldn't even call it a scroll. It is more of a pan upwards or a raising of the camera (just like your eyes would look up a bit further when playing real pinball, & so IMHO it works well). I think it is especially well done in CFTBL. I can use the better looking default camera view, yet the pan upwards (& slightly more overhead) makes it so that I can still see the PAID lanes & all that good stuff.
So what I'm saying is that this scrolling isn't the type of scrolling from yesteryear that gave me vertigo.

To be more specific, not only can you "lock" scrolling, but you can also choose multiple camera angles. And you can do this on a "table-by-table" basis.
The best way to set the camera/scroll options on a "per table" basis is to start a table, and then before launching the first ball with the plunger, tap the "Pause" button in the upper right-hand corner. You will then be presented with a menu indicating a slew of options including "Cam Type" (Locked or Scrolling) and "Cam Angle" (Medium/High/Low/Top Down). Select your desired options and then tap the "Resume" button at the bottom. (You can also return to this menu at any time during the playing of the table.) Once the preferred "camera type" and "camera angle" options are set, the game will default to those settings for that table the next time the particular table is selected.
When playing Pinball Arcade on my iPad 3, I actually prefer "Scrolling" for BK, as it seamlessly pans up to the upper playfield level when the ball is up there; otherwise it's sometimes difficult to see the flippers on the upper part of the playfield (at least with the "Medium" camera angle). On most of the other tables I prefer "Locked". Anywhoo -- It's great that the preferences can be set on a "Per table" basis and TPA then remembers them!
