Guys: I think it's awesome when authors freely offer their assets and tables without restrictions, really appreciate it and I think its cool to ensure an authors position is clear on this. But when we start to politicize this in a way that demeans the other side, this is basically waving your own pecker as your point of view is better than the other POV. Ironic considering that is one members opinion of what occurs when an author is protective of his/her own work.

This politicizing of this issue has no business in this thread, so kindly keep it out of it. It's enough we are starting to see this demeaning of the opposing view start creeping in other threads, can't do much about that but I can ask for some restraint in this thread, please respect my wishes. Thanks.

You are so right. I apologize for my post that provoked the reaction. I wanted to invite everybody to use resources that come from me, but I used the wrong wording and that was abolutely out of turn. And I didn't want other authors feeling bad. I respect other authors and their work a lot. And I accept that some of them protect their intellectual property, that's an absolute normal behavior.

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry, that wasn't my intent

@Sinbad,

Twice today I had a ball stuck.

See picture.

vector_ball.png

Thanks for the info and the pic. I thought it was already fixed, but it doesn't seem so. I'll have a look when I'll implement the 2-plunger-version. It'll be fixed with the next version.

Edit:

Just checked it: it was fixed, but the bumper changes within the last two VP10 revisions make this behavior possible.

OK, here is Road Kings for testings.  It's not fully tuned so it's probably as frustrating as the real table. It's still missing some lights on the backboard.  You may have to adjust the view settings as I've messed with them looking at different things.

Ok guys. Playable version desktop or full screen of my Hercules table!
First let me say I'm still working on redraw of playfield but is going good just not many photos and let me tell you I have learned a ton in Photoshop :) so it is what it is for now.
Plastics I'm working on also so will update those as they are ready.
I think it plays very close to the real machine and I had to try and bring this table to vp10 for my own cab it just should be in every cab as much of a odd duck that it is!
Again still lots to do to make it pretty but getting there and think it will bring a smile to anyone who try's it! So look for updates to this historical table I am trying to bring it to life in vp10.
Made primitive bumper caps, spinner, stand up targets, flipper decals and as I get better resources I will improve them.
Please let me know what you think!

Working on gi currently....

I made a FS conversion for the latest JP Salas' Papa Smurf (1.05), please add it to the first post:

Papa_Smurf_VPX_ver.1.05_FS.rar 12.1 MB

I am testing the 3 beautiful JP Salas' tables but the background sound volume is too low compared to playfield's sounds (already set to maximum in the roms of 2 Stern's).

How do I change it in the script?

Hmueck:  Tried your Robot, very nicely done.  I am getting a bit of an issue though, twice now the ball went up the upper left orbit and disappeared.  One time, I'd swear I'd see the ball THROUGH the tunnel plastic so maybe it went through a wall.  No amount of nudging released it.

Agents 777:  This is table that's more fun than I expected. No real issues however I do find the flippers are very close together, when both flippers are engaged, I don't know if there would be enough room for the ball to go through.  In saying that, I find it tough so I don't know if I want that changed! LOL

Robot: i doubled the wall in height. The ball should be unable to jump over the wall now.

Agents 777: i tried it, the ball fits through the flipper - but very barely so! :)

What causes the crazy re-coil/bounce on flippers when the ball shoots down and hits them?  Sometimes there is enough re-coil to send the ball back up a ramp or loop around the top of the playfield.

I was playing Monster Bash and the ball come around the orbit, hit the left flipper and then the recoil from the flipper shot it up the right ramp.

First of all, awesome work on VP10 and on these tables guys. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet but in Sharkey's Shootout, I keep getting the ball stuck here...nudging like a madman doesn't seem to help.

Sorry about that. I haven't updated Sharkey's for the newest vp10 beta. They changed the pop bumper settings, if you'll notice you can't see the bumper base under the cap. I'll upload a fixed version later today...

Here's an updated Sharkey's Shootout - nothing major, just updated to work with latest VP10 betas and a few updated textures.

Download here (please be patient while it uploads, Comcast is really a turd today)

I've switched this to Mega since Box died last time. This link should be valid for any future updates as well.

Big ass table indeed:

Do we have confirmation that this is currently at Funspot? Haven't seen it there in the past, but it's been several months since my last visit. I can stop by in the next week if it is.
