Destroy The Ring times from starting the mode to ending the mode. The Movie Multiballs need to be played beforehand for the mode to even light.

OK that's what I had missed ! it's not the total time played facepalm.gif
Thx McD

I'm working on installing Hyperpin in my cab (that's some excuse for not making hiscores right now tongue3.gif ) : I saw that Pinemhi was now in the FPlaunch program (not the one I first installed but I'll change that tonight), is it the VP one on only FP ??

Hrm - couldn't get it to work so far. Played three games (AFM, WW and TOM) and all three ended up giving me the "No Game Played" error.

This is my INI:

CODE
// INI-file for pinemhi leaderboard.....................made by Dna Disturber

[path]
VP9=C:\Games\Visual Pinball\VPinball912.exe
VP8=C:\Games\Visual Pinball\vpinball_8.1.exe
nvram=C:\Games\Visual Pinball\nvram\
tables=C:\Games\Visual Pinball\tables\

[user]
name=TheMcD
code=The code, copypasted from the PM

[Misc]
splash=1
tweet=1

I boot up the program and select my table. It boots up VP9 and the table, I put in credits and play one game. After the game, I wait until I see "Game Over", then press Escape. Then it throws up that error.

The McD

EDIT: And just now it worked again. This seems to be a pattern I'm running into. First VP itself suddenly works again, and now this suddenly works.

Hi McD,

If the table takes longer than 70 seconds to load after you press the vp9 button then this occurs.
If it took longer it's best to not play a game and press escape and load it again.
Maybe you have a lot of stuff running on the computer while running it .?

Let me know if it happened on tables that took long to load....

Going to see DedRok's name in every table I launch, great ! dblthumb.gif

So you have 3 different programs, one for showing hiscores in HP, a second for storing hiscores on FP & the third same thing for VP ? and all named PinemHi ?
Why not adding the storing code to HP ?? rolleyes.gif

There are 2 programs..
Pinemhi....that shows the hiscores (frontends can use it, i made a setup for hyperpin but blur is still workin on implementation into hyperpin)
It shows hiscores for fp and vpm games...
And no worries...that's only local scores...so only what's on your cabinet...so no DedRok on every game dblthumb.gif

And then there is pinemhi leaderboard.....the one with the database you are using at the moment....

In theory i could implement pinemhi leaderboard into hyperpin using fplaunch.......but most cabinets have no internetconnection and most of the owners of a cabinet have their tables renamed....

A wifi usb key will do for the internet connection. It would be great to have leaderboard in the cab, to battle against the rest of the world (Australia, most biggrin.gif)

Too bad there's no standard for the table names. Maybe you can use the rom names ?

The roms are being used......but multiple tables use the same rom so you need the table as well...
But to keep the database clean and a fair competition everybody must use the same table.
The standard could be the name when you download it.....
You can use these names in the xml in hyperpin....would be no problem....

But when you use wifi you probably need a firewall and a virusscanner and that would mean less performance for your cabinet or slowdowns during gameplay

This is what I meant a few pages earlier. I understood it's a "feature", but I just want to make sure that that's more or less the same you also get.
It's no problem as I know the score from the game just played before.

That's because of your background image....it's transparent where the letters are....

Yep. For instance, the desktop background (in my case, 'Da Vinci') not only shows through, but seems to elicit white splotchiness on the characters (a bit more prominent on my display than in this screenshot).
Attached File  Prt_Scrn_No_Alt.JPG   82.01KB   23 downloads
while the PinemHi image alone is quite clean and coherent.
Attached File  Prt_Scrn_Alt.JPG   33.69KB   20 downloads

In Yogi's case, the text seems to be ghosting, or 'printing double'. I of course have no idea what causes that, but if the user would rather not tolerate what is presented, I would suggest a light-, solid-colored background for the desktop (I assume it's possible to do). I may or may not experiment someday; for the present I find things quite acceptable.

As I said, no problem here. I just wanted to know if there is any error on my side other than "wrong" background.

I changed background to single colour "orange". Looks this:

Bit of a problem - the web page for Scared Stiff shows me as Spider Champion, but I'm not, since I never managed to do that.

The McD

EDIT: Don't ya just hate it when you get a decent score, but you could have gotten so much more? 300+ on Whitewater, which in and of itself is fairly good (150% of default GC), but I had to screw up. I had bloody Wet Willie's lit, and I couldn't hit No Way Out. Couldn't do it. That shot is a PAIN to get right in this game along with Boomerang Bend. Mostly because of those damn bumpers having a tendency to screw me over.

Could I get a score put in manually? I tried to submit it, but it failed, and I really want this one to be in.

Around 500 mil on Whitewater, here's the NVRAM to prove it.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Hi McD,

I'm really sorry but I don't put the scores in manually sad.gif
Otherwise I would get that sort of request a lot more and have to check nvrams and updating the database manually on a regular bases..
It's not only the score but also your name and tablename and special scores....if I make a mistake with the names/tablenames the score will not be shown on the website, so I must check it also after inserting.
I'm afraid it will cost me a lot of time in the future and I'm afraid that when people have a really nice score but didn't use pinemhi leaderboard they would do these requests as well...

I hope you understand....... blush.gif
