Thanks Sindbad and Kiwi for sharing. :)

On that note, we are already over 20 tables that have been released allowing us to test VP10. To the Devs and the many authors, many thanks for all your efforts.

has anyone done a tutorial on how to convert a vp9xx script into a VPX script....

replacing table objects to primitives and textures seems like a no brainer ..... the script on the other hand....

I think the scripts don't change much at all. They are even getting easier, as you can get rid of the fading lights routine if you want.
On the other hand- i haven't checked out flashers yet.

Yes pretty much. Just run the table and if it gives errors you should be able to debug each step pretty easily. Make use of the command  reference.

yes, please always check the command reference txt for the table element that has the error and see what happened there (could be just a logical rename or that it behaves different nowadays).

(also there was a lot of stuff added for some elements, so the file is worth a look anyhow)

So there are two more updates:

Buck Rogers (version 20150409) can be found here: https://drive.google...PQ0E&authuser=0

Changes to the last version:

 - Adjusted some material attributes

 - Replaced all wire objects by primitives

 - Fixed wrong table name in config dialog headline

I hope I did everything correct at google drive and you are able to download. If there'll be no more extensive changes in VP10 that affect this table or its behavior, and if no more problems will be reported, this will be the final version. Of course the table will be officially released in the VP10 section when it's available, but presently I don't see any things that might be added / modified.

Truck Stop (version 20150409) can be found here: https://drive.google...YaTA&authuser=0

Changes to the last version:

 - Added option to change plunger type (VP or VPM) in the config dialog

Have fun!

I'm really enjoying both of these tables, Sinbad.  I am teaching myself to build these things and the more I learn about the software the more I appreciate how much time and effort you guys put in to make it happen. Thank you.

Great! :)

If I may recommend something: friction of the flipper fingers 0,3 is better than 0,8 IMHO, otherwise the ball stops when you hold the flipper fingers up. And for the analogue plunger options I would use break over velocity 5 and park position 0,01. But as soon as mjr's plunger code is included in VP10 these values may change.

Updated first post with latest tables.

Sindbad:  I've already mentioned before just how much I appreciate your work.  I just tried the latest Truck Stop and Buck Rogers and they are both excellent.  The light sourcing in Truck Stop is a show stopper and IMHO so many people haven't heard of the real pin, they need to check out this release, they don't know what they are missing!

Hmueck:  Tried your Robot, very nicely done.  I am getting a bit of an issue though, twice now the ball went up the upper left orbit and disappeared.  One time, I'd swear I'd see the ball THROUGH the tunnel plastic so maybe it went through a wall.  No amount of nudging released it.

Agents 777:  This is table that's more fun than I expected. No real issues however I do find the flippers are very close together, when both flippers are engaged, I don't know if there would be enough room for the ball to go through.  In saying that, I find it tough so I don't know if I want that changed! LOL

Really good job on these, Robots doesn't seem to get the credit it deserves.  I've grown very found of all Zaccaria tables since playing so much on the Zaccaria Pinball app (can't recommend it enough!  New physics engine is great!)

First of all I would like to do jumping jacks or scream really loud because i am completely excited that VPX is out on beta and we are testing it, that being said, Why does my ball seem like its being pulled left by a 4000 volt magnet??  The tables are etremly excellent up to this point tho, all of you guys do tremendous work.

Do you use a nudge device in your cab? maybe you have to tweak the accelerometer settings.

Mike,

use whatever you want from my tables. There is no need to ask me, and no need to name me in the credits when using resources that came from me.

VP is for free, you can download the source and do whatever you want to do with it. You can copy code snippets, you can modify the source code, you can copy or modify icons, menus, images, so I don't understand why some authors ban modifying their tables or are very very interested in being named in the credits when resources from their tables are used for another table. It's interesting that they don't name the VP and VPM authors in the credits of their tables. But this is another story...

So I'm very very interested in giving my tables and all resources to the community without any anticipation in what to do (or not to do) with them. Feel free to do whatever you want to do, and don't name me in the credits when you use resources that came from me - it's YOUR table.

What a refreshing point of view! :dblthumb:   I know there are some who might disagree with it, and they all have a right to their own opinion for sure, but I am really happy to hear when authors take this view and share openly with others. I really think it helps to further the hobby. Especially for guys like me just getting into it and learning how to code. Thank you.

I stand and salute your opinion Sir. You have made my day. Not only because I share the same thinking... but because this clearly show the battle of E-PENISES some have around here. I don't fucking get it.... really.... what is with the kiddy, selfish and stupid mentality some have? It is just a fucking god damn fucking table for god sake!!!! You a) are not getting paid, b) are uploading in a "subscription" website were is been put "behind a ..." (I'm not even going to go there... I'm already pissed as it is... have to vent) c) almost anything you do is made by someone already d) using freeware code/tools

Anyways... what I'm trying to say is. Of course I, as a rational person took or borrow something of a code, art, etc, etc of a table (made with copyright material may I add) ... I put or mention the person, JUST FOR RESPECT, had the approval or not. It is just etiquette, of my part. Not anyone agree, or think the same, but his how I was raised. I'm the kind of person that I give respect and recognition to the original author. Ask anyone that have work with me, I always refuse or give a shit if I'm been mention in the credits. This doesn't make me GOD, the shit, cool, the best, the all mighty, the chosen one, the NEO, lol.... you get it. I'm more proud in others peoples enjoyment using it.

IMHO some think they are some kind of God or shit lol.... I laugh at their faces. Nothing I do is from my original hand, (apart from little rambo) ... I'm using copyright material and I never gonna took an once of credit of re-drawing something I didn't really made. Or I'm just plain weird thinking this unselfish way?... o well....

Sinbad, you have raised a new level of respect in my eyes. Thanks. Seriously.

Hope no one took this offensive, it's just a mans opinion, don't need to follow and I respect if there is disagreement. Sorry for my English too, it goes bad fast when I'm a little "upset."

PD: If I could I give Sindbad post a like, every day lol
