OOPS nevermind. I deleted the nvram and all is well. Thanks!!!!

Hi I just tried the new 10.3 vpinball and I get no sound with JPs new LOTR table on my cab. Other tables seem fine.

I just overwrote the old vpinball folder and scripts. Is there something basic I am missing?

JP now uses ROM sound instead of prerecorded samples, so that might be the reason why this happened (for others as reference).

Yes, that's it for sure. I also noticed the whitestar sound is improved from the ROM, so thanks very much for that!!! I assume other whitestar games have improved sound too.

I would like to know the width of the wire ramp (2,3,4 wire).

Thanks

Edit: I forgot to ask how high the physical walls are.

JSYK: The 10.3 beta cycle is now over, and the final was released: http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11572

:bar3:

There was one more change since the last beta build here though: A fix for normal maps, where on some angles the lighting became very dark. I broke this roughly a year ago.  :/

Also the command reference was a bit extended.

Is 10.3 fully compatible with 10.2 tables? Or do I have to keep VPX 10.2?

It's compatible with 10.2. However if you save a 10.2 table with 10.3 you can't open it with 10.2 anymore.

Another Milestone for the VP Open Source Saga.

My sincere appreciation and gratitude goes out (for the selfless devotion, energy and personal time given for free) to all the Developers, past and present, as well as all the authors for their input/requests for improvements, and the users that have helped test and provide feedback to this great project. Thanks to everyone's input VPX is by far the leader in virtual pinball today!

Been away doing other stuff for a while and missed quite a bit...jumped on 10.3 and doing some updates.

I don't know how new the Exclusive full screen mode is but for performance this is king. I can't ever remember seeing it play so well. Obvious troubles there is while trying to run PROC or Mame, you lose the display.

Does the full screen work with two displays? I need to dig out a monitor to test it but if I could move a display to the second screen I'd be happy with that if it kept that smoothness.

Fantastic work guys, you never cease to amaze me with all your hard work and dedication. Thankyou.

One question however, without having read the entire thread, has the flipper lag issue been addressed? Thanks

Partially.

You need to run latest VPM and VP, then there are a myriad of things that come into play in addition, see for example http://www.vpforums....=36111&p=360307 and http://www.vpforums....showtopic=36421 and http://www.vpforums....e=6#entry360057 and http://www.vpforums....=36111&p=361115 and http://www.vpforums....=36111&p=360658
