Weird one for ya....Create a trigger with wire then select it. If I create with star its no problem. Maybe I'm doing it wrong :), but surely shouldn't happen

Monster Bash plays silky smooth for me. :)
Thanks for releasing it UW.
I did have to change the very first VarHidden in the Script to a 0 in order to get the DMD to show up.
Just took a stab in the dark with that one and it worked. lol
Now it has been so long since I have played a desktop table I need to try and remember how to rotate the DMD so it is not sideways.

Did you put the new core.vbs from the vp10 zip file in your tables folder. If you did you shouldnt need to change the hidden variable. The dmd will display on the inter,al vp dmd

I can't say I'm in this same camp, definitely have stutter or skipped frames on the ramps, and the ball always seems to skip frames as well.

I just wonder if we should be stating our hardware setups when providing feedback

Lets get this back to vp10.

Ill have another mb test table up soon.in my signature.

Please be sure to update the vbs files as some features require the updated versions.

Hopefully the new changes toxie made and some changes i made to the table will smooth things out for everyone

Thanks UW. I only put in the vbs files from the first VP10 download.

After that I have just been updating the EXE file. Did not know the VBS was being updated as well.

Oh well. Live and learn.

Edit... Went back and added the VBS from the latest 1623 download and still can't see the DMD with VarHidden set to 1

It is supposed to show up on the left like UWs screenshot since he's using the DMD text box

Maybe that is my problem.

Where is this preview dt checkbox?

I just looked through all the settings I can see but did not find that one.

I can believe I would have to be asking something like this, but how do I put an image on a bumper cap?

Toxie - Is the nightday parameter read only from the script? Or can it be used in script to actually change the setting?

Many thanks guys, got a chance to have a look today and the updates look fantastic.

I had a quick look at UW's Monster Bash VP10 version and I'm loving that bloom effect on the DMD in desktop mode.

Can this bloom effect be applied to the standard VPM DMD or does it need to be assigned to a text box like UW has done here?

I don't use a real DMD so having this HLSL like effect on the DMD full time would be great.  If this is possible, could it also be done with VP9X table DMD's as well?

Thanks in advance.

With a pop bumper pushed into the playfield and the skirt put on, we should not see the 4 mounting posts.

I tried setting it to a surface below the table, but this buries the skirt.

The light bulbs reflecting on the ball is really cool! However, is there a way to script which bulbs get reflected? I would like to not have bulbs above or below certain Heights not reflect. Is that something that is possible?

Thanks
-Mike

Okay, big improvement for me with rev. 1632.  JP's table has always played at normal speed, no stutter at all, but Vern's World and MB were totally unplayable.  Like I stated before it was like I was playing them on a 30 year old computer.

However, with rev. 1632 both tables are now very playable. They are a little sluggish but a major improvement over the previous version.  I still would like to see a recommended settings just to make sure I have the best config possible, but it's pretty good so far.

I must be really dumb. But I still can't find a Preview Desktop checkbox that UW talked about.

In the Backdrop section that you mention there is only a UseDT checkbox, but that is already checked.

No matter what I do I still can't get a DMD to show up on Monster Bash unless I change VarHidden to a 0 in the script.

Really starting to think my machine is haunted because no one else seems to be having this problem.

At least the table plays perfectly.
