Pulled the original download, its line 463, and it is NOT commented out. i added the UVP, thats why it dropped a line number.
I commented this out and all is well.
' PBottom2.Y = PBottomY2 + Pcount*4

THANKS SIR!!! Very nice work.

Wow, that is soooo weird, in my 1.0.1 version I'm currently working on, line 463 is un-commented, but in the 1.0.0 file on my HD, the line IS commented, but the file IN the ZIP archive has the line un-commented! blink.gif I don't have a clue how the heck that happened! I will have this fixed for version 1.0.1 - sorry for the confusion about this.

Best Regards,
Todd.

p.s. Thanks for all the nice comments everyone, and please help me try and figure out the stuck or vanishing pinball bug that Sabbat Moon and Cloudhead have discovered. (I think the ball is going outside the table somehow and the image you see is the ghost image - could this be a VP908 bug where a pinball can go through walls?)

This table looks, sounds and plays amazing Todd. Excellent work for your first creation and can't wait for your 1.0.1 update and other future tables.

if it were a ghost ball image, wouldn't the real ball still come back out of the lock?

I get an invalid arugment error when I add UVP bckglass to this table. It works but always get an error before tablwe launches.

Any work around?

I almost forgot, anyone have a wheel image for hyperpin for this awsome looking table?

Actually, I don't think the ball is "in" the lock, but here is a way to find out:

Locate the kicker named "LRampKick" and change it's co-ordinates to the ones in the picture below. Save the table and then playtest it for a bit.

Maybe the ball was too close to the end of the ramp and the kicker was unable to kick the ball out.

Todd.

i have test with the coordinates but always same problem.

i have write in french

Excellent job on the table.

Is anybody having else having trouble getting the dmd to stay put. I put the dmd on the 2nd screen and everytime I exit, save the table and restate the dmd has moved back to the playfield position. First table that has given me a problem with the dmd. Btw using 9.08

Never mind. I found the uvp instead. And I commented out the display position and changed the dmd to hidden = 1

Thanks for everybody hard work on the table.

If you guys are script savy enough, here's a key you can press to make that kicker kick the ball down the ramp, if it's really stuck in the kicker, and it didn't fly off the table.

Look for line 271 in the script, and press enter once to move the words "End Sub" down one line.

In the new line you just made enter these lines of code:

CODE
'press the S key to kick the stuck ball out of the kicker?
    If keycode = 31 then
        LRampKick.Kick 180, 5
    End If

End Sub

At the top of the script window, click on Script -> Compile.

Save the table and run it. If the ball gets stuck, press the s key on your keyboard and let me know if this kicks the ball down the ramp.
I put the 'knocker' sound in there so you know that the kicker is firing, even if the ball isn't moving. If the ball flew off the table, the ghost image will remain in the kicker, but you'll hear the sound.

Best Regards,
Todd.

Not a single complaint about that so far. Have you played the 4:3 version and had the same problem? think.gif

It just occurred to me, did any of you guys with the stuck ball problem "widen" the table to get rid of the metal side rails? Maybe when you did that, it buggered the left trigger? (as in, it's too close to the left edge of the "offscreen" area???)

Beautiful work Todd! I just went a few rounds with it on my cabinet, and it plays wonderful. High Speed II is one of my favorite top 5 real pinball machines, and this was the first time I have ever played the original High Speed. I am surprised at how closely it plays and resembles its successor. Very nice work on the textures, it looks incredible!

I get an invalid arugment error when I add UVP bckglass to this table. It works but always get an error before tablwe launches.

Any work around?

I almost forgot, anyone have a wheel image for hyperpin for this awsome looking table?

I am getting the same error message "wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment."
I hit ok and the table plays fine.
I have searched Hi and Low and I can't find a wheels image either sad.gif

That means you're using a UVP backglass. make sure you comment out the line that says:

CODE
        .SetDisplayPosition 0,0

make it look like this:

CODE
        '.SetDisplayPosition 0,0
