Screenshots look amazing, unfortunately Im getting a script error on both the FS and 4:3 version when I attempt to load it. Ive tried it in 9.08 and 910 with ij_l7 rom.

Error is:

Line: 0
Object doesnt support this property or method: 'mSlingBump(...).SlingshotStrength'

Lights aren't bumpers or slingshots.
vpmNudge.TiltObj = Array(lb9, lb9t,lb10,lb10t,lb11,lb11t,gi1a, gi1b,gi1e, gi1f)

Anyone else have an issue with the right outlane? The right outlane seems to bounce the ball back down to the flipper side each and every time instead of the ball draining down the right outlane. It looks like the rubbers are just a little bit too far in the lane for the ball to travel unless it's perfectly going straight down.

Other than that... this table is perfect. I love the planes being ramps/walls. They look great. Very nice technique!

Sounds strange to me as it goes through every time for me! Odd! think.gif

Im not following you sorry, is there an edit needed to that line in the script? It looks the same as what I have here.

I assume only slingshots and bumpers can be tilt objects, but LH here put lights in there, resulting in the error. Just comment the line out and it will play fine.

Yeah I just found that solution in the other thread thanks. What I dont understand is why its affecting some people and not others? Is it the version of VP we are using?

I think that is not the problem.
On my 3 computers (laptop, with Windows 7, desktop with XP Sp2 and the office PC Win XP Sp2), runs fine without this error.
Lights, in VP are objects too, so the tilt only function is alteranet states.....(Wall...drop/undrop, Bumper ON/Off and lights the same), also, the bumpers always acts like lights.

Any suggestions?¿?

Cheers.

XP SP3 here, I wonder if thats the common thread for people with this error. I tried it in VP 9.08 and 910 and both has same error.

Out of curiousity, why does VP throw the error at line 0 when the error is obviously much further down the script?

Awesome table by the way thankyou, I cant imagine how many hours went into modeling those planes and other objects using your method.

It would be caused by the vbs files you use. Anyway, anything that has an error in an external script file like core.vbs shows up to vp as error line 0 - that's normal. Technically you can't disable' a light object when a table is tilted - it should only be slingshots or bumper objects so those shouldn't be in the tilt object array.

This table stutters a lot for me. Is anybody else having any issues? Its like the TOM stutter when the light flashes, but all the time. I have no problems with any other table even during multiball. I am building a table top cabinet and just got the pc parts in today. I had the stutter on an old pc I use to test things, the specs were a pentium 4 3.4ghz, 3gigs DDR2 667, and a geforce 9800gtx+ 512mb. So when I got my new pc in today I was hoping the stutter would be gone but its exactly the same. My new pc is a i3 2.93ghz, 2gigs DDR3 1333, and a geforce gt 220 1gig (it falls somewhere between a 9500gt and a 9600gt). I figured these spces would be enough to run this table. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to check a certain option in VP to have it run better? I really want to play this table but the stutter kills it.

BTW: I am on XP service pack 2 clean install done today, newest nvidia drivers, 1920x1080rez and I have a dual monitor setup. A 23in samsung for my playfield and a 7in USB 800x600 LCD for my DMD.

Thanks for any help.

Possibly the dual monitor setup is killing the framerate. Runs fine here.

Is it that intense of a table? I can play every other table fine with the dual monitors. And the pc I put together, while no super computer, seemed to me like it should be providing more than enough juice to play VP. Am I wrong?

Use the 182 drivers

Also make sure hd render is checked in the video options

Thats what im trying now. Hopefully it works. Not sure which driver im installing right now tho. Im using the cd that came with my video card so its prob older than dirt haha. I really hope this solves my problem. As for the HD render, I am using VP 909 and I went into prefrences, video and clicked the HD render option. But when I loaded the table everything was white. I could see outlines of objects but they were all white. Clicking HD render off solved this. Ill try it on another table and see if its a constant thing or isolated to this table. On a side note UW I love your table top cab. I am designing mine now. We can start a table top revolution. haha. Will post back if the driver solves my problem.

EDIT: Ok so the 182 drives do not support my card, the drivers that came with my card is 191. They work better than the newest drivers but im still having issues with the HD render. Any other suggestions on getting this table working properly? Or should I try to solve the HD rendder issue first?

still having the issue of the ball falling off the left ramp down into the bumpers, or even launching on to the other ramp. If you even care LH since you didn't bother to respond to any of my other notices of it. Using VP909.
If you have a widescreen 16:9 monitor and want to play your VP9 desktop tables without them being stretched, check out This Link
