Hi rschudej.

Check the green light bulbs on it.
When you hit the left eye, the left green light will lit, then, you can change the light position (left or right) using the flipper buttons.

If you hit to times the same hole, even with the same light each time, you don't score.

Also, maybe tomorrow I will release the v1.01, with the issues fixes that Lettuce tell me, and also, will be a table without reels.wink.gif

It still will not work after those 2 or 3 times... even doing what was suggested above, it is still the same.....can you look at the vp8 version and see what the differances are???? I even tried changing the rom(s), and tried deleating the CFG and NVRAM, but no luck....

I apollogize for all these reports, but i thought it was wize to let you know what was happening...

Richard.

Great job on this table! One question: should the Joker holes award the monitor scan? I thought that could only be awarded in the "Lite Bat TV" hole. Thanks!

Yeah i have noticed this too, and actually had the same problem on the my real table!!! The problem with my real life table was, one of the wires that attaches to the switches on the joker eye's came lose, so when you shot the joker eye it didnt register, because usually after you shot the joker eyes it ejects the ball from the 'Bat TV' the table was think i was always shooting the 'Bat TV' as it hadnt registers the switch on the joker ramp. I think the same sort of thing is happening here, maybe the switches on the eyes of the joker ramp need to be repositioned?, as at the moment i dont think the ball is hitting them everytime. Does that make sense?

OK, i have just played a bit of the 4:3 v1.01 update and there ar still some issues:

The 'Bat TV' award is still given when you shot the eye in the joker ramp!, im not sure whats the case here, as the joker ramp eye switch is working as it lights the light on the joker ramp, and you see joker wink on the dmd???

The ball is still getting caught up on the 'Batcave' ramp, the ball should fly all the way around the ramp, but 95% of the time the ball only makes it to the 3rd skill shot hole (next to the Fugelheim Museum), this makes it almost impossible to complete the 'Bat TV' award as it need to activate the switch which is past the 3 skill shot holes.

The 'Bat TV' hole need to be made slightly harder to shoot, and the joker ramp a bit easier.

When shooting the ball from the middle of both flippers the ball should almost always go up the batcave ramp, at the moment its a bit hit and miss, and doesnt always go up the batcave ramp

A tiny bit more bounce need to be added to the flippers, its a bit too easy to catch the ball with the flippers at the moment

Other than these few points, the table plays much better, the speed and gravity are spot on now, great work LH, hopefully with update 1.02, all these little niggles will be sorted

I think i might know why the 'Bat Tv' mode is activated when you shot the eyes on the joker ramp. As the ball is ejected from the 'Bat TV' hole when you shot the joker's eyes it activates the switch for the 'Bat TV' hole and so thinks you have shot the 'Bat TV' hole.

Now i have no experience with scripting in VP, but once the switch on either of the jokers eyes or mouth has been activated, can there be a script added that disables the switch for the 'Bat TV' hole for just 2-3 seconds, so it will not activate the 'Bat TV' switch when the ball is ejected from it?

Yes, true..the ramp should be fixed..80% of the times the ball doesn't reach the end of the ramp, in the real pinball this happens only 10 % of the times. Hope to see an update soon ;-)

Did anybody ever figure out how to fix the joker ramp so that it doesn't always award the "Bat TV". I tried fiddling around with the script, but I really have no idea what Im doing. I think it has something to do with sw39 activating when the ball is sent to the leftvuk, or somthing like that. Anyway maybe somebody could take a look.

Yeah, I managed to fix the ramp myself. I took ramp name: RampEntrada, and curved it just a bit, and now the ball sails all the way round. It didn't take much fiddling to get it to work. If nothing else you might want to try that.

Excellent, excellent table! Thanks so much for all the hard work!

I just wanted to say that while I enjoyed (and will enjoy) the table immensely, I too have noticed the Joker/TV issue (not a big deal at all to me) and the batcave loop problem (a bigger deal; the usually easy batcave is very difficult to complete the loop).

One other issue I'd like to address is when a locked ball in Flugelheim is released, unless it collides with another ball or you tilt the table, it almost always bounces off the top of the right-hand slingshot and then straight down the left-hand outlane. Is there some way to adjust how the ball gets released from the lock? Or a way to add some randomness to the ball's direction?

Anyway, just thought I'd shout out!

Thanks to all of the contributors for the amazing things they're doing here!!

Yeah, would be nice when LH gets an hour or so if he could update this table to fix the problem, as at the moment the table is almost broken, as you cant finish some of the game modes because of the batcave ramp not allowing the ball to go all the way around it smoothly!! I know how to fix the joker ramp/ Bat TV problem, but not sure if what i have in mind can be done on the VP script or not, as i have no experience with scripting.

Basically, for example lets say the 'Joker ramp' is switch 1 and the 'Bat TV' is switch 2. When the 'Joker ramp' (switch 1) has been activated the VP script need to tell the table that the 'Bat TV' (switch 2) need to be disabled for 1 or 2 seconds, the reason for this is on the real table after shooting the joker ramp (switch 1) the ball is ejected from the 'Bat TV' hole (switch 2), so in VP when you shot the joker ramp and the ball is ejected out of the 'Bat TV' hole it is activating switch 2 (Bat TV), so the script need to disable switch 2 (Bat TV) for a few seconds each time switch 1 is activated (Joker Ramp). Can this be done in scritping???
