LH:
having a problem with the ball disappearing with Solar Ride FS and Centaur vp9 and FS.
moved all images from the image editor and backdrop editor.
ball is still disappearing in the playfield.
Solar Ride vp9 rotated is ok.
the ball disappears in the FS version.
same with Centaur vp9 and FS.
could you give us some kind of idea what the problem could be?

BTW, can someone point me to a description of a spanned table, or explain how they work? Still don't get it.

Hi Chas.
Are you running the tables on a PC with a ATI Card¿?
Check if the HD render is off.

I running these tables without any missing or dissapearing balls.

Cheers.

hello LH
running a desktop presario, xp, amd athlon 2.2ghz and a nvidia gt220 with 1GB.
tried HDR.
HDR in vp905-908 desktop exec is not available in FS on my PC.
HDR is unchecked and not available. it wont check or uncheck.
using 905/907 and 908.
not using 909/910 because of the bugs feedback i have read about.
other than the ball disappearing sometimes your tables play good.
suggestions?

spanned tables use two or three monitors that have to be configured in windows like one big desktop

so in your nvidia control panel you have to choose one large desktop option in multi monitor configuration

after that you move your monitors in desktop area to catch all parts of spanned table

i think you have to rotate playfield monitor to display playfield properly

any way, to make long story short, it's not something that you wanna go into, all new tables that are developed are FS and that means they go to your first 16:9 unrotated screen, and second and maybe third screen are uvp backglass and dmd

spanned mode was invented by ultrapin i think and their machines use spanned tables

LH
spent a little more time on solar ride and centaur.
in the image window i moved some graphics and outlining bumper edges in the problem areas out of the playfield on the vp9 and FS version.
its getting better.
why did i have to do this?
