it's the same problem with my Dutch Windows 7 version (the manual ball function won't work). On my second computer I have installed a English Windows 7 version, and on that computer the manual ball roller function is working correctly.

yes it is a known pb with non english windows xp version... had the pb with pinball wizard (no nudge possible).
David Fowley worked on the pb , he said to me that he passed the infos to Black for a patch , but with the recent "drama" with future pinball , i think the only solution is to use an english xp.... angry.gif

Sorry for this bump, but i have found solution. All you need to do is to copy dinput8.dll file from english Windows XP to future pinball installation folder in non-english version of your Windows. If you don't have english Windows XP then you'll only need to download this file: http://www.mediafire...j0il0i93t3lk9ig . After you have downloaded it move it where you have installed Future Pinball(where the main EXE is) and manual ball roller will be brought to life. I have tested it in Polish version of Windows Vista and Windows 7 and it works flawlessly.

In an other site Popotte have said that you had found the solution. I wanted to thank you personally. IT WORKS PERFECTLY ON MY WINDOW 7 . I am one that creates tables and debugging was a frustrating thing.

And it's work on my Windows XP. And I have to apologize as I forget to thank you here, dear Titanic4.

Bought Pinball Wizard last year to play FP tables. The plunger and nudge worked in the Win config screen but FP never recognized plunger, nudge or trackIR. At that time I suspect from dll issue but didnt figure how to fix. For almost 1 year I was not using Pinball Wizard anymore. Now I see your post, plugged PW and it works.

Thank you Leorato

Thank you Titanic4!, I'm using FP for many, many years now... on and off... and I was never able to use the manual roller, until now!

The DLL in your post did the trick, unbelievable. Just did the test and all is enabled, X and Y are now set to mouse handling, what a joy to use!

Perfect in situations when I play and the ball gets stuck, happened to me more than once... gone are the days when I had to restart the game and lose my score!  :otvclap:

Using Win 10 Pro 64bit... Dutch... all is working great, thanks again! ;)

Grtz,

Galahad.

Here you go:

1) Download dinput8.dll

2) Put the dll in your Future Pinball folder and your Bam folder.

3) Open Bam Loader

4) Under Preferences

5) Game Key Controls

6) Check the box to Enable Mouse

7) Set Pinball Roller Left

What that does is when you left click your mouse it will activate manual ball roller

8) Set Test Roller x to Left Right

9) Set Test Roller to Up Down

10) Save

You should be ready to play a table with manual ball control with the mouse.

Enjoy.
