...I just recently went through and downloaded and tested all of the FS tables from the downloads section here. I can't beleive that some of these tables were modded to FS using their poor images. I think FS tables should all be about quality now instead of quantity. They should be done using only the best high resolution images possible...

As opposed to lo-res, inferior images? I'm sure the tables' authors DID use the best possible they had. I am ALWAYS gathering every possible resource I can, and it's no small task.

I don't think you understand that these resources are not always available.

Instead of crusading for better images, please point me in the direction of this fabled resource only you seem to know of.

So would it be possible to say.., take the sound effects for the balls and collisions from UW monster bash table and add them to this table, and for that matter any table of your choosing? Is this hard to do, as i think it add soooo much to table, just the little things make all the difference

subzero demands a 4:3 version also seeing as how he plays no games in full screen

Then subzero can download this version and spin it around - the table is angle independent, though I suppose the satellite will look a little funny.

If you find a way to do this let me know, I love the sounds in Monster Bash. Should probably start a new thread though.

I'll be honest with you - I don't plan on releasing a 4:3 version, nor would I like anyone ELSE to release a 4:3 version of the mod. Shrinking the table down to 4:3 makes everything look fuzzy and slightly distorted. I'm just really not very fond of it. Does this make me a snob? Probably. But life goes on.

If you'd like to make it 4:3 for your own personal use, try this on the backbox view:

I make my tables angle independent for a reason.

I did. I'll probably integrate it in a future update if further bugs need working out or I figure out those ball sounds. Otherwise, people can change flippers easily enough themselves.

A small update, like what I just did with Who Dunnit. All I did was alter the physics. I should play nicer now. The biggest upside on this particular table is that the eject hole won't instantly drain your ball anymore. It still falls out pretty randomly, but you should be able to catch it.

like i said in the other thread this is an awesome table and looks amazing and plays great. Though whats the deal with the left flipper, I hate it when certain tables make the ball jump when it rolls down the lane onto the flipper. The right flipper doesn't do that, so why should the left. Its so hard to hit the Right ramps because everytime the ball rolls down the left lane onto the flipper it hops. Is the table really suppose to be like this or is that flipper suppose to be lowered some or... ???

It just depends on the speed of the ball, I think. Both flippers are identical. The ball just ends up traveling faster to the left more often to than to the right, making it harder to trap there. That said, I've trapped it on the left plenty of times before, and it's a guaranteed catch coming off the left wire ramp.
