I found a couple pretty high res pics, though they aren't from the best angles & parts are blurry, trying to attach them here but the attachments aren't working for me for some reason. I found a couple more that are OK, not quite as high rez as the others I found, but not bad & probably better suited for VP resources, I at least think they are better than a flyer scan & one has a good shot of most upper PF plastics.
I'll upload them shortly.

Also, I'll be seeing this pin in person in august. I can take a ton of pics of it then, if you guys decide you might want to wait a few months or don't find anything better in the meantime. Of course any pics I take then will be pretty sweet, got a 14 megapixel Canon. Only thing better than what I can take then would be high rez stripped PF pics & plastic scans, but since this is a kinda rare table, not sure if those are gonna pop up anytime soon.

I took some artistic liberty with the left slingshot plastic - hoping TAB's friend comes through with a set of clearer pictures of the plastics so that I can make it look accurate! biggrin.gif Here's what I have so far:

Best Regards,
Todd.

p.s. working with vectors is very forgiving because it becomes very easy to edit - especially when using MANY layers. If the line isn't curved properly, simply adjust the 'tail' until it's accurate.

Thinking we wait a little bit.
If we do the plastics in this way we must also redraw the PF. Instead it looks too different.

Ya know... we wouldn't mind seeing a full re-draw and a nice FS version of this table being done.

Given enough time, and a stripped playfield I think I could pull it off, I need to find the little spaceship decal for the playfield too! I saw that once and I lost it.

Best Regards,
Todd.

p.s. never mind, I remembered that the playfield insert was at ipdb.org - I'll retrace that today and post it later.

Slapping on redrawn plastics on a low rez PF doesnt sound like high standards. I was merly stating that this table deserves more then that and am glad you are doing it up right.

OK, here are a handful of pics I found, I may have more buried somewhere but these were easy to find. Maybe not the motherload of robowar pics, but maybe resources than a flyer image.
& as a bonus I threw in a high rez cabinet pic (though its a tad blurry) & a pic of the scoring panel above the backglass but the backglass itself is kinda washed out by the flash. I assume there is already good backglass pics out there. If not I have more of those.

THANKS Rob!! This is better than nothing, lets hope TAB's buddy comes through with more pics! tup.gif

I still wish there was a 300dpi scan of a playfield but that's just wishful thinking. blush.gif

Thanks again Rob. Sadly, TAB and I already found those pics at the "lotsapins" link and the owner no longer has the Robo-War machine. Also, the pics are not clear enough of the plastics so we are back to guessing on the details.

I keep hoping that better, higher quality pics will be found. biggrin.gif

Oh, about robo-war, I think I had found new & better pics a couple months ago. I'll upload them when I get a chance. In fact, I might see a robo-war in person next weekend, & if so I'll grab pics.
TAB do you have plastic scans or just plastic pics?

Yes have pics - but very dark. Not good to use.
